Best Value NAB Cup players - Cats, Saints, Swans

Another 1-1-1 draw, with the Saints, Cats and Swans all experimenting. So which experiments worked?

Best Cheapie (< $140k)

One of the more successful of the night was little known Swans rookie Harry Cunningham (50 points from 2), he'd be a unique if he could find his way into the Swans' best 22. Better options IMO would be Terry Milera (30 from 1), Simon Hogan (66 from 2), Ahmed Saad (48 from 2) and Orren Stephensen (36 from 2).

Best player $140k - $280k

How about Cameron Guthrie (31 from 1) everybody? He's Cheap! Tom Ledger (67 from 2) and Jarryn Geary (36 from 1) showed some spark, and if you're willing to take a big risk Mike Pyke (66 from 2) mania, go ahead.

Best Player $280k - $420k

Nobody massively stood out from this group. Clinton Jones (43 from 1) is better known as a tagger, Jack Steven (40 from 1) will be a star, but is very awkwardly priced. Nick Smith (66 from 2) could be something to consider in defense.

Best Premium (above $420k)

No real shining performance, with the Swans veterans all showing consistent and solid results in Jude Bolton (50 from 1), Jarrad McVeigh (70 from 2) and Adam Goodes (65 from 2). Joel Selwood (42 from 1) and Ben McEvoy (58 from 2) are still well on my radar.

Ended up watching Hogan, Horlin-Smith and Guthrie from the Catters, Saad and Milera from the Saints and Goodesy, Walsh and this Cunningham fella from the Swans...

Ledger look good at times, is at an awkward price tho...

Saad looked pretty sharp and the pressure he provides is a highlight of his game. Also liked the look of Ledger as well. Guthrie is a player the Cats were determined to hold on to during the pre-season as they see him as a replacement for Scarlett.
