Ryan Hargrave's Role

what exactly is his role in dreamteam this year? and is he worth picking up??

some might say because he's so cheap that he will be a cash cow! others beg to differ and that if he is picked his role WILL BE a keeper ??? is he good enough for that? in 2009 he averaged 93.2, that's conclusive evidence that he CAN score very well, but the big question is CAN he ACTUALLY repeat it?? 

best outcome: risk pays off big time as he increases avg ppg from 58.8 to 85-95 (by 30 points) and returns to gun status
worst outcome: maintains avg ppg of 60, rises slightly in price (20-60k) or gets badly injured again.

being the 7th defender isn't out of the question either... so either hargrave or a rookie + 130k? your thoughts? :)

i'm too lazy to post it, but take a look at Hargraves last five or so averages, then look at lakes and compare the two. ;)

PB makes a good point, l would also add to just watch them both (and their roles) over the pre-season

Hargrave: 71 , 72 , 93 , 77 , 59
Lake: 78 , 73 , 81 , 100 , 52

As soon as Lake went up in '09, Hargrave had a massive boost too. '10 was interesting, both played a fair bit, '11 neither played much to be able to read inth their scoring. Now to look at how well the Doggies did in '09 and '10, and whether the game style will be played again this year.

hargrave looked really good, but he didn't have much competetion though, gws and half og collingwoods reserve side
......so am reserving judgement at this stage

I dunno how he played, as i don't have foxtel either, but that's what i'm implying. ;)
