Goodes+Birchall only because Goodes has a much easier start to the season then Martin. Am looking at getting Martin just before the byes

Martin and Scotland.
I think Martin is going to kill it this year, and I personally think Birchall and Scotland are too close to seperate.
What's the rest of your team like?
The byes can come into play here as well - if you have both Buddy and Cyril in the forward line, don't get Martin. If you have Fyfe and Pav in the forwards, don't get Goodes.

Footyrulz

goodes and scotland ae both old but also good scorers.

martin is very good value so prob him and scotland.

Personally I'd be going Martin and Birchall. Both have age on thier side and should improve, plus you save some cash to invest elsewhere.

Goodes and Scotland will still be in the top 7 forwards and backs but I see them as better upgrade targets. Especially as thier older and IMO may drop a few points in average.

Yeah I do. Goodes is and will continue to be a star but I feel there is better value in Martin. I won't be missing that boat.

I agree martin is a get but not till R6 or 7 after playing Blues, Pies, cats and Eagles.

Martin will stil see plenty of ball over those games. Players still score well against tough opponents.

But Goodes is playing against GWS in R1, MONEY!

I cant work out how to get both in my team at the moment

The problem with round 1 is it is only in the rolling average for 1 week.

Martin plays GWS too. But his turn will remain in his average for 3 weeks.

If i can only get either Goodes or Martin i would go Goodes as at R6 when i can get the other one, i will be able to afford martin and not Goodes but trading out Rookies

Id rather save the money. Either way you go they will have a down week and become cheaper.
