Each year people supercoach scores are going up. just wondering what people think someone will have to average this year to take home the 50k?

Personally I think this year the winner will be the one who collects the most points during the three bye rounds and maintaining an average of between 2300/2400 for the rest of the rounds. There will be a minimum of 2 donuts during byes.

Probably 60-80 less than last year (not sure what that is)

Byes are harder to deal with, less trades, and I don't think we will see a round again with multiple 2800+, plus a couple 3000's like we saw in the round Stevie J vs Melbourne and Cox vs Western Bulldogs, giving some people 600 if they had Cox captain and SJ, plus the likes of Pendlebury-160, Swan-160, Murphy-140, Ablett-140, Goddard-140, Fyfe, Pavlich and Scotland all got approx 120 (off the top of my head, and not exact). So if you had a team like
Goddard, Scotland
Pendlebury, Swan, Murphy, Ablett
Cox-C
SJ, Fyfe, Pavlich

That was 1700 points right there, with another 12 to come.

So it would be unlikely to get another round like that where everyone scores really well, boosting your averages, and over the 3 bye rounds averages for even the very good teams could be around 2100-2050, severley affecting overall averages

Whichever team can get two scores of 2300 will win overall. Why trading hard this year will work.

Maybe he means during the bye rounds?

Bennyy

Yeah possibly, the winner will have to be strong during those 3 rounds! Many ways to go about it, but you'll be hoping to target 2300-2400 to win it
