Looking for some advice, most of the Premium part of my team is very settled now. There doesn't appear to be anyone I want to leave out, it's just a matter of anyone pushing into the team between now and rd 1, although there would need to be an especially compelling case to knock anyone out. I am at tinkering stage now and am looking at F3/F4.

Fwds are currently Franklin, Goodes, F3, F4, Brownie, Porpoise, (Zorko, Cooyou, Newton) prob will be some changes with rookies leading into round 1.

F3 and F4 to be filled by two of Pav, Fyfe, or Zaha. I will point out that I am almost 100% in my head that i will go with 4 Rookie ruck  ::) but please... focus on the question at hand  ;D

Any combo for F3 and F4 that includes Zaha leaves me with 100k in the bank which would leave me able to do an early Prem upgrade (Probably in the rucks coz I'm sure I'll start to get nervous about rucks rd 6, if not before)

D Mart's been in and out a hundred times but he doesn't really sit in with my strategy to tackle the byes due to others picked that IMO are must haves. (D Mart is in all likeliness a must have, but then again there is more than 22 that have a good case for definite inclusion in any team, but someone has to miss out :) )

He is definitely on the radar, but I am quite happy to pick him up during the year assuming he makes the step up we all expect him to. it would be a late trade just after byes. Ruck upgrades will be my first priority for obvious reasons.

He is one that is being watched with interest during the NAB cup.

 I'd def go with Pav and Fyfe. Fyfe cause he showed last year he is a gun and should continue that this season. Pav cause he's Pav and scores better playing forward. Both cause Freo should be top six. Zaha is a great player but will not get as much mid time with Hocking and Jobe fit as well as Howlett, Melksham, Stanton, Jetta, Winders, Heppel and even Monfries running through there.

yep dont agree with 4 rookie rucks just get pav, get another rookie and get a premium in ur rucks or just spend some extra cash on your mids, its gonna be a pretty stacked forward line.

my bad, i just been looking into the 4 rook ruck and it dawned on me you pobably already got a stacked mid line and have some extra cash to burn on the forwards, You have obviously thought hard about this and the bye so for pure scoring potential pav and fyfe.

Cheers for the advice all; looks like the people have spoken and it's Pav/Fyfe comprehensively.

Just on the bye equation I have been through a lot of scenarios, and have decided not to worry about the overall number out each week. I have set up to have an 8/10/12 startegy through the byes but that is neither here nor there as rookies will be in and out before then. Where i have focused is on the Prems that will be missing and currently have a 0/6/6 Premium bye strategy (I exclude Brown and Lake at this point as Prems), and will be looking to upgrade to Rd 11 Premiuims through to round 12, dependent on how they are travelling and draw for the remainder of the year to offset the losses in the 2nd bye rounds.

Being that I will be ever eager to upgrade my rucks Cox, Nic Nat, Leuenberger, Goldstein will be first looked at. It's interesting to spend such time on things....and then have it ruined Round 1 when Selwood and Brown kamikaze into someone knee/hip/skull/goal post. ::)
