I think that you're wasting money on the midfield, that is where you get the best rookies and cash cows. get one of the highly rated young mids and use the money to upgrade like hargrave or sidebottom

why would I do that?
My 5 MIDS will all average 113+
Hargrave will average 75 at worst.
Sidebottom is definitely playing more MID time, read the afl website... will be in the mid 90's.

MIDS have the best cash cows... but they have the best premiums too. To be up there with the best, I want to start well and then use my trades wisely!

if you go down for example murphy to dom tyson you could be getting 80s and more cash gain than hargrave, you can upgrade hargrave to scotland or carazzo, get MPP and they will average 100+ as well

Tyson + Scotland + Shaw = 70 + 190 = 260
Hargrave + Murphy + Conca = 155 + 115 = 270

And Hargrave and Conca have easily the potential to average more than 77.5 each.

yeah probably true, but backmen are very inconsistent, a DEF premium can throw in a 75 any week! but with my 5 premium MIDS, I know they'll get 100+ every single week.

Grimes hasn't played more than 14 games in a season and Hargrave has played 24 in 2 years and only averaged over 80 in a year once and that was in 2009?
