Lots of rumors going around that swanny has had a 'Ben cousins like summer', does anyone think this could effect his scoring etc this year? Clearly it doesn't help your thought process!

And that is all they are for now...

In a physical sense; no. Substances like cocaine etc are so popular around athletes as they have very little effect on performance & are processed out of the body in no time. As you mentioned it's the mental element that can cause the instability (fallout with teammates, coaching staff) etc. Atm i have Pendles in my side over Swanny anyway... 8)

I too have been hearing these rumours for at least a few months, from a range of footy & non footy related people. Def watch this space reckon...

Heard he is out of favor with some of the guns like Pendles etc, im not sure i could leave him out because of rumors but they are strong and pretty reliable and it could be a winning move of he blows himself up during the season!

Mr.Craig

A high Dane Swan would still be better than 99% of the competition.

Not if he's not on the park he wouldn't

Where are you getting these "strong and pretty reliable" rumours from if I may ask?

boost

Nick Maxwell was on SEN yesterday and said the rumours are false.

Jukes

Both come from pretty dodgy clubs...like both players though.

Its being heard everywhere in Melbourne and on radio, AFL 360 etc. Hopefully they are wrong because i want Swanny getting me some 150+ scores this year. He does look like a loose unit though!

RiOtChEsS

tbh i think he is getting off on playing the media...

all his comments have been somewhat random/controversial for the last 18 months...

me

lol, swannie doesn't blitz the first nab cup game (cos he clearly doesn't care) and now everyone is looking for a reason to jump off him

he may be unique by round 1!

mezzoculo

Perhaps Swannie started the rumors so that no one selects him in DT except himself  ;D

Well I believe swanny 100%, had a chance to speak to him 2 years ago, and he told me he will retire at age 30 no matter what and apparently it is the herald suns exclusive in todays paper, so if he says they are rumours, then they are rumours. Swanny locked and loaded. :)
