4 midfield elites too much?

4 mid elites too much do you think? Pendles, Abblet, Murphy and Selwood. The area that is affected is rucks, having Luey and Hmac.. thoughts on this idea?

personally, ive gone with 3 mids because i believe that the best rooks are in the mids and that when it comes time to upgrading them, you can choose the mids who are playing the best and not waste a trade on changing premiums for premiums. also allows you to have 5 backs 2 rucks and 5 fwds, which i have, and also allows for more flexibility, if you put dpp rooks in mids and a better choice of rooks

Not at all. I'm running 4 premo mids but its just  a case of personal preference. Just like the ruck structure argument................

I agree with Jimbo. All the best rookies, the ones who's prices will appreciate the most, are all midfielders. Limit yourself to three premium mids, maybe one breakout mid like sloane, caddy, masten etc, then have the rest as cheap mids. Upgrade in time for the byes.

Nope. I have four and am considering a 5th with midfield options dropping left right and centre.

can' t see any of those dropping form nor some of the others, thommo,swan, boyd, gibbs, judd. i think only LTI

would force you to sideways trade. you generally have to make 2 trades to get 1 of these fellas in [ 1downgrade and 1

upgrade]

Having these mids lets me start with a third DPP forward with the Rnd 13 bye (Martin) and gives me the chance to upgrade a mid rookie to one of Rocky/Swallow/Redden/Thompson when I have the cash.

I've gone with 4 elites, as well as 2 premium rucks. Skimping a bit on the fwds/backs, just aren't enough options that I like there at this stage.

I looked at that option PB but my team is better with a four premo mid. Your team might be better with 5 though. Personal preference really...
