a lot of sides have this kid in their backline/midfield but i havent heard much about him..
is he a realistic chance to play round 1 for gold coast?

Big wraps on him at Coast. Has a penetrating right boot and his kicking accuracy was described as elite and up to AFL Standard by Kevin Sheehan. Had a sound season for Morningsiae in the NEAFL last year and taken by Gold Coast as a priority Queensland Zone pick prior to last years draft. See if he is named this week for starters and watch his progress during the NAB cup. With Bock rumoured to be playing more forawrd this year may get games. My only concern is JS

Def/Mid status is the only reason people are considering him, it makes him tempting i admit, its just i dont think he will get the opportunites as much as say docherty, who is under an injured cloud, but when fit should get more opportunites IMO

Good write up. M'cKenna has already stated that kids won't be given games for the sake of it this year, so one  just to monitor I guess.
