The Mailman:

BACKS:

Solid top 4. Dunno if Darley & Bugg can play together in the same team.

MIDS:

Pretty strong. Murphy is a bit unique. Miles not playing this week means he must be ousted. Not in the best 22 apparently.

RUCKS:

Standard ruck options.

FORWARDS:

Robbo looks a good unique pick up as we haven't really seen much of him this year yet. Looked okay today. Zorko is injured and I wouldn't think he would play round one. Curtly looked okay playing as a FWD. Too bad the GWS mids couldn't deliver it to him.  :P

OVERALL:

As you said, pretty general team. But it's safe way to tackle things. I have'nt much to say, as it is pretty good. I think you'll find I comment more on the teams that have a few genuine left field options. As I like teams that have a few risks.

Good team mate.  :)

Just wanted to see if I hadn't made any drastic mistakes :P

I've got several other middle priced players now

BACKS:

Brad Sheppard? That's something pretty different. Eski has been slaying and is worth a look. Solid backs, bot sure about Shep though.

MIDS:

I think Shiels was last years star. I'd look for someone different IMO. Swallow is a good option though. I'd drop Polec to a rookie and use the cash somewhere else.

RUCKS:

Smithy hey? If I was you, I'd go with H-Mac.

FORWARDS:

Beams hasn't played a NAB and that is worrying, I'd oust for Martin or Robbo. Don't get Cornelius, his promising. But your risky picks begin to mount up....

OVERALL:

A very different team here mate. But good unique selections. Maybe a few too many. Too risky to consider Barlow now IMO. Oust Corny and get a rookie and upgrade Shiels to a gun.

Simo05:

BACKS:

Pretty good top 4. Broughton has proven me wrong in pre-season. I'd rather Hargrave over Lake.

MIDS:

Good top 4. Probably the best 4 going around. Watch your rookies though.

RUCKS:

Share the same bye.....

FORWARDS:

Riewoldt might be the surprise packet of 2012. Don't think he'll get back to his best though. Decent line.

OVERALL:

A good team across the board. It's very safe, Broughton still worries me but he is worth the risk going on pre-season form....

Mdub:

BACKS:

Yeah mate, I've gotten in Golby. Looks the goods. Solid line. Tynan?  ???

MIDS:

Neale & Maganr have been impressing, keep 'em around until teams are announced. You have redden as your profile pic, but have Rockliff.  :P You sure about Caddy at 5?

RUCKS:

Great. Mumford will slay the weak teams this year.

FORWARDS:

Solid line again, this pre-season has shown why Gray & Sidey deserve a selection.

OVERALL:

Really good team. Obviously put a lot of thought into it. Dunno if Caddy is the correct choice, but he is gun in the making. :)

Staggs

DEF: Goddard, Birchall, Broughton, Heppell, Hargrave, Ellis, Bugg <Spurr, Morris>

MID: Pendlebury, Ablett, Mitchell, A. Swallow, Coniglio, McDonald <Kerridge, Magner>

Ruck: Mumford, Jacobs <Giles, Stephenson>

FWD: Franklin, Fyfe, Martin, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, D. Smith, Hall <Weedon, Couch>

Windigo

Dtrain:

BACKS:

Solid top 4. Andy C looks sharp and cross fingers his tagging role will be only minimal this year. Beau looked nice last night.

MIDS:

I'd rather only one top draft pick. Downgrade one to a cheaper player and pocket the cash.

RUCKS:

Standard.

FORWARDS:

Dunno if having Porpoise and Danger is good or not.  :P. Watch your rookies on the pine as well.

OVERALL:

Nice team. I think having Cox takes away strength from your FWD line. But it's a good team none-the-less. I rate Danger as 5th FWD, not at 4 however.

I've changed a lot of my team around (including removing S Mitchell which will make you sad Windigo :P)

The large amounts of changes were due to shuffling players for the bye rounds.  Still unsure on Waters and Dangerfield.

Hawkhead:

BACKS:

Couple of risky mid pricers. But I don't see why you cannot pick 'em. Broughton has impressed, worth a shot.

MIDS:

I'd get Fyfe FWD & Deledio in the back they wasted in the midfield. Too much cash spent on the midfield IMO.

RUCKS:

Standard. Same as me.  :)

FORWARDS:

Pretty good FWD line. Not sold on Rioli and Dangerfield is pushing for selection. Not bad mate.

OVERALL:

Has the potential to be a good side if you just put Fyfe FWD, Deledio BACK and re-think your midfield.  :)

Windigo

Tittan99:

BACKS:

Very, very strong defensive line. If Marty fires then it's ace.  8)

MIDS:

My preference in 4 premium mids. But your obviously going with a stacked back line. Sumner looks okay.

RUCKS:

Great ruck combo mate.

FORWARDS:

Another solid line. Don't buy into the 'fact' Chappy will fall of the face of DT stardom. Has shown he can still slay. Good options. Don't think your rookie selections are the best though.

OVERALL:

A good team with some well thought out selections. Good back line, only I'd rather Birch or Shaw to Suckling if you can squeeze some cash?

Windigo

FootyMan:

BACKS:

Solid top 4. Don't think Smedts has shown enough for round one IMO. I'd rather Hargrave to Lake.

MIDS:

Yep, that's ace. Arguably the best 4 too have. If you think Swan will go to Arizona that is.  :P Really nice midfield. Conny looks good and is worth the price IMO.

RUCKS:

I don't think Sandi is the best ruck option this year. Mummy, Jacobs, Cox etc all looking good.

FORWARDS:

Nearly identical to mine.  :o Different rookies though. Great line mate.

OVERALL:

I actually really like it. Midfield is strong and as a whole the team looks great.  :)
