Second rate, please have a look

Backs:
Goddard, Birchall, Grimes, M. Clarke, Hargrave, Conca, Bugg (Smedts, Morris)

Mids:
Pendlebury, Ablett, M. Murphy, Swan, D. Shiel, Horsley (Neale, McDonald)

Rucks:
Burger, Mumford (Giles, Stephenson)

Forwards:
Franklin, Goodes, Robinson, Martin, Sidebottom, Walsh, J. Cameron (Panos, Hampton)

Since Windigo's obviously gone for the night ill help out with the work load, or at very least offer a second opinion.

Backs: Risky, very risky having Hargrave, Conca and Grimes although if i were going for three mid-pricers down back it would be those exact three. If you walk in to the season with those three in your team, you need to have a lot of confidence in them. No lids? i heard rubbish speculation about his back, if thats why you dont have him, then you shouldnt have half of your players because AFL's media is constantly speculating about so called "injuries". On second thoughts its most likey because of the round 13 bye and the fact that you have conca and morris. risky defense, but I see how you compensate in all other positions.

Mids: Strong! very very strong, obviously strong premo's, but i think you could use a c/f dpp at the very least. personally i have  a c/f dpp and c/b dpp that are both rookies, which some people would say is over the top, but I like having that "security". Personally i would prefer a Jelwood/Rockliff/Boyd rather then Murphy, but thats really just prefrence. Im loving the Swan+Pendles combo this year, missed out on it last year, not going to make the same mistake again! strong midfield.

Rucks: Dominant, absolutely dominant. Two of the top three rucks this year IMO. I absolutely love that combo, really havent seen it enough, but like I said in you lack in your backs, because of money use elsewhere and I think this year more then any is the time to have a cheap 2nd ruck. There maybe some good up and comers, but I would much prefer have a mummy giles/HMac and upgrade Hargrave to lids, to give your backline that extra bit of security. Superstar ruckline!

Forwards: Very impressive forward line considering the money you spent on your rucks. I dont think i have seen any forwards as good as that with two premo rucks. I am still not sold on Mitch Robinson! I really thing there are much better picks and I think with Walker and Lucas expected to play through the midfield the pointd going around in Carlton's midfield will decrease, which IMO will decrease his average, you would be much better off having Fyfe/Cloke/Pavlich. Loving the Goodes train, easy as fixture in 1/2 half of the season and with his incredible second half of the year form, should be a dominant season for the three time brownlow medalist. I am not sure about Jeremy Cameron, his a dangerous choice as a key forward, has been likened to the Charlie Dixon of the suns. Also better options then Panos, really there are just better options. Trealoar, Zorko (he'll be fit come round one) kerridge, pfeiffer, weedon.

Summary: Terrific team whatlez 929/1000. I am loving the looks of that midfield/ruck and forward line your defense just lacks, but if theres one place this year to go cheap and riskier its in defense. Hopefully i have satisfied you enough to give Windigo one less team to rate, good luck for the 2012 season

I'm really surprised on the good rating since that's my second side. That's underdog anyways and if you want I'll PM you my top side?

tigers123

Goddard, Deledio, Suckling, Grimes, Conca, Ellis, Bugg (Darley, Smedts)

Pendlebury, Ablett, Boyd, S. Mitchell, Shiel, McDonald (Neale, Kerridge)

Cox, Leuenberger (Giles, Stephenson)

Franklin, Martin, Sidebottom, Pavlich, Winderlich, Treloar, Weedon (Hampton, T. Walsh)

Rookes subject to change, only other possibility i could do with my team is to downgrade one of the big'un rucks to mcintosh then upgrade conca/winders to shaw/fyfe... Thoughts?

Cheers lads, really appreciate your help!

DEFENSE: Im not sold on suckling having another good season but he could be a nice unique and i personally wouldnt get Grimes but thats a risk for you good luck with him. Your defense seems a bit weak with only GOD + Delids then suck and 2 mid-pricers.

MIDFIELD: Nice STRONG midfiled with uniquey Mitchell and excellent rookies. Cant really say much about it cos its mostly bout preference for mids.

RUCKS: those rucks are awesome just seems a little expensive. but those two are guns and then the usual giles + stephenson.

FORWARDS: Theyre good, but im not sold on sidebottom and i prefer christensen or brown over winderlich but otherwise they re solid.

Maybe you should spend less on your ruck and ^Upg^ your defense.
I like your idea of one of your gun rucks to H-Mac and then upg winderlich and i like shaw

Hope this helps

LuvFooty:

BACKS:

Very unique going Scotland as number one back. I like him. Bit weak with no Goddard in their IMO and Broughton as a number 3 could back fire if has another up and down season. I'd look to get Bugg/Darley on field and maybe see how this Wilkes goes before having him.

MIDS:

Good mids. But Maybe have either Shoe or Sloane. But I dunno about both. In saying that both could breakout. But I like the set up of 4 guns & 2 rookies. Or 3 guns, 1 mid pricer & 2 rookies. But the midfielders you have are the correct ones!  :)

RUCKS:

Fairly standard. Sandilands is gunna be a unique among the top coaches. Not a bad pick though. Just watch his TOE.

FORWARDS:

Straight off....Where's Buddy? Forwards aver very week when I look at your number 3 and it's Jonno. I'd really use some of that cash to get another FWD. But all your 3 picks have upside though. Watch Saad. Not 100% on him to be a considerable DT rookie as of yet.

OVERALL:

Nice team with some great thought out uniques. Still would like to see maybe another Buddy in the FWDS. I like that you have Mitch Rob. Is going places... And fast! Nice work, just watch Broughton and the two mid pricers in the midfield!

LF

Thanks windigo
My rucks are mummy and Jacobs no sandi in sight there lol
