There have been multiple threads I know about breakout forwards and who to pick among them... Instead of reading all the comments, for your benefit and mine, i thought i would try and get a quick poll going to see what everyone decides...

All these players have a similar role in their respective teams, and are suggested of getting more midfield time for their clubs aswell.

Who do you think is going to perform the best SC wise this year?

(Left out D. Martin as I am assuming most people will have him in their SC team.)

Christo wont be playing the NAB this weekend..

Anyone know why...?

Ziplock

I was wondering the same, I broke it down to two possible reasons

1) he's too awesome, and the afl won't let him play, because it would be unfair to the other teams
2) Geelong just want to keep him a secret for their own DTs.

I'm leaning towards 1.

Thoughts on Gary Rohan? Entering his 3rd year, has shown great potential and is injury free

I'm interested to see Sidebottom so popular. Don't get me wrong - undoubted quality & SC suits him well - reckon in many other teams would more regularly smash out the 100's. However, there's only so many points available in each game & in games Collingwood play in it's hard for me not to see most of the points going to Pendles, Swan, Daisy, Cloke, etc, leaving fewer points for the others such as Sidebottom. In other words, the question for me is: will there be enough points left for him to get to allow him to average 100+ ppg? Not sure.

I reckon Zaka has fewer stars around him & therefore should be more able to make the required significant increase to his average to call it a breakout year. I think Dangerfield & even Christensen fit into that category too (with all the Cats retiring), just to a lesser extent than Zaka.

I'd select Zaha. Greater possibility of more midfield time. not sure if SS and AC are going to get any more midfield time

Wolf67

The other potential breakout is Robbie Gray.  Still priced below $500k, looked good at times last year and capable of the big score. 168 against essendon seceond last round.

Mozza3

At the end of last year I would of said Zaha but his knees sound like their a bit of a concern. Robbie Gray is definitely one to consider, just as talented as the other guys but unfortunately plays for a rubbish team.

Colliwobblers

christensen of them zaka broke out last year cant see him adding anoth 15-20 points to his average, sidebottom will improve but breakout is generally 2nd-3rd year large jump in average of around 20, dangerfield doesnt get enough of the ball to break anything, but what he does get he uses well so SC maybe
