Loving this team, it's like a breath of fresh air in amongst the stale old staples. You have the guns, a few potential break-outs and the some good rooks. Dunno about Mackay and Beams but apart from that it's about the best team I've seen so far.

Good to see we agree...on Mackay. Lol. So you think a team with all guns n rooks, just a permutation of the generic squads posted here will win the car? NO F-ING WAY! The winning squad will be a guy who takes risks, gets on the break-out players pre-season and puts players in BEFORE they go off. Imo it's this type of squad that will mash the rest of us. Do you have the kahunas to make one like this???
Could you imagine a team last year starting with: Rockcliff, Fyfe, Beams, Goldstein, Suckling, Zaha, Stefan and Dustin Martin, Adcock, Hanley, etc etc etc. It would have annihilated us all and would have been rubbished on here.

Granny boy I agree with you to some extent, however I think 1 or 2 smokies s a good option, and you also need to know who to get.... Looking at that team I can see maybe 1 or 2 mid pricers who may breakout but that's it..... I'm sure I have read a stat in the prospectus at some stage saying most of the winners go with guns and rookies, however the just pickup the " breakout" players early on.... Don't ask me what year tha was...
