After a really ordinary pre-season and year last year.....is he a chance to really bounce back and become a premium up forward

If so would you consider him from Rd.1 or as an upgrade target?

verda32

Too much uncertainty for me... new coach, injury prone, double teamed and team on the down

simma1978

Absolutely NOT. Will never get back to his best form and gets no assistance by other Saints players.

fever

i think he's a wait n see

if he looks good preseason and watters game plan looks suited to him i think he's worth a punt at his price

SydneyRox

I am not as down on old nick as the others, I think he is a champion player and will have a point to prove.

IF he can get some decent service from the midfield
IF he can get some help in the fwd line so he is not 2 or 3 to one

If he shows some signs in NAB i think he is worth the risk.

sid3bysid3

Didn't hear anybody talking bout old, washed up dean cox after his only poor year. Don't ride off this champ just yet

colmullet

yeah his on the radar i think, if the new coach sets up well and with hayes in the middle freeing up the good ball users like dal santo and goddard he should get better service and a fit Kozzy might take some heat off him from being double n tripple teamed as often

Just curious do the Saints have any KPF talent they want to blood or will they just stick with Riewoldt?
If not i think Riewoldt could be one of those picks that pays off.

SydneyRox

Yeah, there was this Irish guy, Walsh I think. He was a likely KPF at Saint Kilda last year.  :P

Bruce McAvaney

KPF are a thing of the past. Until they come back in style just as smaller players have.

didnt he move to sydney???

Saad may be a KPF for the saints

SydneyRox

not sure :P dont think he is on too many radars if he has moved to Sydney!

JamSainter

Sorry but Tommy Walsh is in so many teams :P
And if Rooey had such an awful season last year as most of you guys think and still average 85-90, I can't wait for him to have a good year. And he will be averaging 100+ (particularly in the fisrt half of the season as the Saints have the easiest draw of anyone in the first 11 rounds).

Wilkes has been recruited as a swingman and maybe Stanley might get a few games but thats about it.
