I know, I know, not another bloody swan and pendles post but i need someone to talk some sense into me. Last year i had both at rd 1 Great!!! This year i started with Swan, as Pendles is way too much mula and a def upgrade target after the byes, Maybe B4. At the moment i have none, as i was thinking swanny might go walkabout in the states again before the bye. This means he might possibly, Not probably miss rd10 - gold coast, rd 11 melbourne and rd12 - the bye. This will leave him fresh for W'Coast, Freo,Carlton, Geelong, Hawthorn Rds 13 -17. That plus the fact there are so many other prem mids burning up the track atm that will score well enough to take you through to the byes. This also means if you upgrade to pendles which IMO you should, I might not have no need for the the brownlow medalist at all in 2012 :o Has anyone else thought of this or am i losing the plot b4 the seasons begun ::) ??? :o :-[ >:(.!Your thoughts would be appreciated and should make for some interesting reading. However if your in the platinum league with us i might take your opinions with a grain of salt. No offence haha

C'mon guys, Tell me i'm wrong, Ripp shreds out of us if you have to. Just give us one plausible excuse to get Swan back in my side. Please! It's doing my head in
Did i mention i was an Eagles supporter out west ;D ;D ;D

Ziplock

look at his last couple of games vs like his first 10 opponents. Actually, look at his last couple of years vs every opponent. He's a DT legend. Greatest DTer the game's ever seen.

you'll definitely need him in your team by season end, might as well start with him and auto lock him as a captain :P

A pies player told me swanky came back from off season carrying a few kgs and struggled in the time trials. I'm going to watch him over pre but it's him or pendles... Will have both by season end

^ exact same rumour as last year. Only won a Brownlow medal, and AGAIN topped the DT averages.

I reckon, solid form from a fat barbie right? :P

Yeah, done that the last 2 years and paid off really well. Dont get me wrong, i want him in for rd 1 but my team for some reason looks more balanced without him, mainly due to the byes and the extra $$$ i save. Then there is the fact that swan being swan and being in a strong side can afford the luxury to trip off to the states and leave us coaches in limbo. A fact we will have to get used to with our prem's i suppose. I'm going with a 4/4 mid set up and by the time i add pendles (hopefully before the bye) i will  probably have no room for him and it's spinning me out, due to the reasons you just mentioned. I would get him b4 the buy instead of pendles if i knew he wouldn't go walkabout. Imagine having him but he aint there for round 11, there's another donut you weren't counting on. But in saying that i think pendles is going to take it to another level this year. AAAHHHHHH!

Need more convincing

Ziplock

well, I don't have that issue, since my team looks more balanced with swan there :P

yorgis

when your opponent has swan, you'll be ka ka your pants hoping he don't get much more than 100, and, if he's capitano,

forget it. pay for him, get him, whack him capt, and don't worry about it anymore

Turkies

Only missed 1 game in the past 5 years.
Has averaged 120+ (SC) for the past 3 years.
Only went to Arizona last year because he was playing with injuries and wanted to get it cleared up.

Calm down bro, put him in your side and give him the big C.

nah mate Heater is the one more likely to go walk about or do something stupid.

Swan and Pendles never take NAB cup seriously even though they won it last year....

SAMCRO

My midfield consists of Pendles AND Swan. And Ablett. And Murphy. Expensive but worth it.

See, this is the shower i was talking about. Might have to leave him out untill after the bye in which case i will get pendels anyway. Maybe no Swan in 2012 for me. now thats flowered up!

wow you believe everything they print???? I am taking Swan for the whole season. If he misses 2 weeks, he misses 2 weeks and comes back better. Who's to say Pendles wont do the same??
