Hi Please rate..going insane..already lol

Def- Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, Hargrave, Smedts, Darley, Bugg----Morris, Wilkes

Mid- GAJ, Boyd, Selwood, D Thomas, McDonald, Ried----Neale, Mitchell

Ruck- Mumford, L"burger----Giles, Big" O

Forw- Franklin, Goodes, Chapman, Martin, Sid'btm, Hampton,Cameron----Panos, Dell"ollio

The only thing i might change is if Lake looks like playing R1 then Hargrave to Lake & then Daizy Thomas to Pendl's. What do you think Guys???

felsty

pretty strong side but seems a bit uneven to me.. too many rookies in the backline and not in forwards.. think you need to take one forward premium away for a rookie and upgrade to a premium in the back, my thinking would be goodes downgrade and a hargrave upgrade and leave a little cash left.. have clarke from collingwood in your backline to add a little depth to it

other than that a great team, strong mids and rucks and love your def and forw prems - 8/10

Nice team, great player selection. I would only suggest small changes.

DEF: I would upgrade Hargrave to a better prem, maybe H Shaw?

MID: Great. 4 guns and a bit of uniqueness.

RUCKS: To contend with the byes I think it's important to have ruckmen from all of the bye groups. You have 2 players each from the round 11 and 12 bye groups. I would bring in McEvoy for Mumford to both contend with the byes and free up some cash for a backman upgrade.

FWDS: All prems are great picks but I would look to Martin as an upgrade target as Tigers have a very tough early draw and historically Martin struggles against the top sides.

Top side. 8/10

Good team.
Keep Hargrave, I like it. The premium rucks! WOW! I have found someone who is going 2 prem rucks (that makes 2 of us :P )
Don't upgrade defence, no need to. Because 'historically' defence rookies have scored the best and with a wide range of defensive rookies why not play 3 on the field. Some nice cash cows :)
Mids are great, rucks are great, fowards are great.
9.5/10 (very good team, not only coz we have the same sort of strategy) haha

Very Solid with some unique POD which I Like.

Would not at this point in time change anything with your prem selections if you wish to maintain your POD. Agree with the comments rookie backs may score as well as a mid price def who you would put in their for team balance.

You do not need rucks from Round 13 for byes either Round 11 Play McEvoy Stephenson, Round 12 Berger and Giles and then back to Berger and Mummy for Round 13.  (This is the reason why we will cop a miimum of 1 donut in each of Round 12 & 13.)

Definitely a 9/10 discounted due to possile minimum riks with your PODs.

Im just thinking that with the 8/11/11 strategy and no round 13 rucks means at least 2 donuts during round 13 which isn't advisable.

Thanks Ben will have a look at the maths tonight with my bye spreadsheet at home.  Most of my bye strategies have been ignoring Rucks but you may have a point. My Team has 2/1/1 set up so was ok.

Why are people thinking ruck donut?

Round 11 - play Stephenson and Mumford
Round 12 - play Leue and Giles
Round 13 - Leue and Mumford and voila.

If Giles and Stephenson play, no donuts here!

Nice team apart from having both Martin and Deledio. Both are guns but both top dollar with tough draw. Surely offlaod one and keep as upgrade target later in the year.

Nah mate, we're not talking about a donut in the ruck but having no player from a particular bye round in your 4 rucks means that you will have at least 2 donuts somewhere else during that round if you use the 8/11/11 strategy.

ben_020285, you deep thinker you.

I think I get your plan.

My plan is to keep rucks like this teams, and not use a trade for this line.

I was hoping to leave trades for rounds 12 and 13 to minimise donuts.

Those rookies will have 'matured' by then and hopefully can upgrade to topline players from Ade / BL / GWS / NM / WB and WCE after round 11.

Likewise after round 12 - grab Pies - Pendles! / Bombers / Dockers / Cats / Demons or Swans.

Assuming all goes to plan!

Ha.

Thank you all for feed back, MUCH Appreciated.
I should have probably mentioned that only going for league win ( $100 per player, winner takes all ). So not concerened about byes.
Have looked at going for a 1 prem ruck combo then with cash go Martin to Pav, Hargr to Shaw , thomas to Pendls...

Def- Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, SHAW, Smedts, Darley, Bugg----Morris, Wilkes

Mid- GAJ, Boyd, Selwood, PENDLS, McDonald, Ried----Neale, Mitchell

Ruck- Mumford, GILES----Rowe, Big" O

Forw- Franklin, Goodes, Chapman, PAV, Sid'btm, Hampton,Cameron----Panos, Dell"ollio

Is it better or this way..
