Is it important to have a defence link and a forward link in your midfield? I've got Pfeiffer and L.Brown, but are they important? I would rather have Neale or McDonald in there instead of one of them, but is that link crucial?

Not at all. With the new trading rules you can always rectify that a few rounds in.

Ah yes your right. Say i'm trading out Gaff for some reason, and I have 2 DPP forwards who can play midfield. I can trade Gaff out for a forward and put one of them in the midfield, leaving me with a DPP forward in both the midfield and forward line. Correct?

And should I take out Pffeifer and Brown? (or put them in their respective positions, not in midfield?)

Mozza3

Yes. Put Pffeifer and Brown in the forward and backline respectively and throw in MC'Donald and Neale in the mids.

Remeber you'd have to use a precious trade! Mpp will still be handy imo, being able to switch player by positions with no trades! Sure this new rule will be handy but dont rule out the fact of having mpp link because of it.

Who's with me???

as far as i'm concerned it is vital especially if you have a lot of mid pricers who will be in/out of the side and up/down in form
