it all depends on how many rookies you have and what rookie it is. If its your 5th rookie forward i would easily take the hamc brown combo.

Im personally i big fan of Hmac and Brown has been locked in all pre season. It would depend on your other ruck but i think this year there is uncertainty on who really is the top ruck. Hmac allows you to have time to wokr out who it is and upgrade to them. Also with the byes you can see if giles and stephenson is playing and trade accordingly to avoid donuts.

It sounds abit stupid to say but i want to say hmac and brown is the safer combo, even though they are both comign of injury.

+1 holz, just not sure about the wording of "safer option", but points wise l reckon brown/Hmac will come out on top

H Mac will get 80 average, brown 89. 80 + 89 = 169.
Berger 100, rookie 70. 100 + 70 = 170.
Just count it out mate that's how I do it.
