Karmichael Hunt is on the hunt according to recent news reports. Part of the leadership group running around the midfield likened to a wild wolf. Would you invest your 140K in this convert on the chance of a break out year. 2 choices?

Justin Bieber

Defs not. Might as well pick Falou while your there

for someone that costs only slightly more than a rookie and is moving to the mids he wouldnt be the worst choice on your bench.

elephants

I agree with Pavs Nose here. Easy in their best 22 (well he has to be as he is a marketing tool)...

Justin Bieber

He got subbed and scored 0

The F.A.R.K.

how can a k.hunt like karmichael hunt get a leadership role for doing nothing

Colliwobblers

no doubt he is a natural leader maybe even an inspiration to the young side, we KNOW it isnt for his footy achievements (YET). I think he will do better in the midfield , I also think he needs 3 years to get the footy smarts and turn from an elite athlete to even an above average AFL footballer, it's a big ask and apparantly he has come along nicely in the pre season but yeah a couple more years and a maybe then we will see

it really is ridiculous to expect a player from a deiffernet code to step in and be anywhere near acceptable at the new sport, we can't even find many proffessional AFL players who can change position successfuly much less find a league or soccer player that can step in and just BE a good AFL player, it's not going to happen, for a LONG LONG time.

Capper

he will definately do alot better then he did last year but is still not a fantasy choice imo

Jukes

Being a leader of the team doesn't make you a good dt'er...see Darren Glass and Nick Maxwell.

Holz

alot of good picks in the forward rookies this year, unless he does something brilliant in the nab he is no chance against the likes of zorko, walsh, cameron, smedts etc..

If he was 85k maybee no chance at 140k, cheaper and better players

Flame

Not for me!! Neither is Izzy Folau!!

he's actually listed as a back mate so won't be up against those guys

nostradamus

Apparently he was just about BOG in their last intra club match and even drifted fwd for a goal.

lf he does play mostly in the mids, and l think he will, can you imagine what his tackle count would be like?.....could be huge

Food for thought

yeh i agree. maybe this will be his output in an average game;

6 tackles = 24 points
7 kicks = 21 points
7 handballs = 14 points
3 marks = 9 points

maybe the occasional goal but will leave that out = 68 points

Pretty reasonable assumptions there PN.....but l reckon he could average more than 6 tackles per game
