Second crack at it, still playing around with some ideas, what does everyone think with 3 prems in the mids and 1 in the rucks? I've left my first team down below to show what i originally had. Thanks guys!



Backs: Goddard (mid), Shaw, Birchall, Suban, Lake, Clarke, Ellis                                     Res: Morris, Brown
Mids: Ablett, Priddis, Mitchell, Barlow, Pfeiffer (fwd), McDonald                                     Res: Allen (def), Gibson
Rucks: Leuenberger, Kreuzer                                                                                  Res: Stepensen, Witts
Fwds: Franklin, Pavlich (mid), Rioli, Martin (mid), Brown, Porplyzia, Smedts (def)             Res: Zorko (mid), Walsh

Money left : $32 800

Very solid standard team with a couple of uniques.
Def: Solid Suban nice pick.  lake enough has been said.
Mids - Can not fault - Priddis solid choice,
Rucks: Just personal but I have querys with Kreuzer,
Forwards: Solid.

Overall 8.10 for this team -

Thanks for that, yeah i know what your saying with kreuz! But with the money left i really dunno who could go better...
I can see him scoring more and prob averaging more than someone like HMac.

My own second ruck is Zac Smith similar price to Kruezer,  There are a couple of threads on Smith for you to read if you desire.  Personally I can see him scoring better than H Mac and Kreuz.

good side, a few uniques which is always good to see...

Def: Suban is risky, and at that price i think it is worth downgrading to a rookie or maybe finding a bit of cash to bring in Jack Grimes at $380,000. Watch lake through pre season aswell
Mid: very solid, Priddis is a good unique, will consistantly score 100+
Rucks: rate it, im a set and forget fan but I also feel Kruezer could be in for a good season
Fwds: solid, im not sold on porps though

all up a very good side though

I think the byes are going to drive us mad.

eg Round 12 defence will need upgrading to cover 4 of them being out - Shaw / Heppell / Broughton will obviously be keepers so minimum 1 donut there regardless if you keep them all.

Round 11 - donut mid and fwd.

This gets sooo messy.

I give up.

Hahaha thanks mate, well the rookies could change before round one, plus hopefully most of the rookies would have made a bit and i would have made some upgrades by then... Round 12 sucks!

Superb. Really like the 3 rookie midfield. If anything, what about Cloke to Sidebottom? I'm expecting them To average around the same. You could then upgrade Heppell or get some more expensive rookies, e.g, Koby Stevens.
