I am mainly having trouble with the f5 spot with the option currently being Porps but what other options would you go for? Start 3 rookies or take money away from another area and upgrade to someone else. If so who?

need to know how much cash you have left, i like my side better obviously its made for me to like it :) but i don't think my side IS better.

Yours is a well structures solid side, i see some tweaks that could possibly be meade but not without knowing the bank balance.

Can't fault it tho great side.

thought you might have money left that is too much definately spend a LOT of it, 50k -100k is a luxury to leave in the bank and useful, me i use every cent i have to earn me points from the start but leaving some to assist in trades isnt a bad isea but anything over 100 is just not neccessary.

I would look at . barlow if he doesnt seem fit and safe by round 1, he is missing nab cup (or some of it) due to soreness in the leg - damn shame he was a lock for me.

i would also look to make one of brown or porps a premium even a cheap one like sidebottom or whoever you like but just to bolster that line, you could also look at upgrading a rook in def to a mid pricer like lake, armstrong,conca(tho might get suspended)

A few uniquewls there in swallow, mcevoy and cloke. All of which are a lock for 105+ scoring...rookies need some work but that can wait until after nab. I probably look at porps-->danger??? Maybe try and bring suban or lake into your backs for a rookie?

Thanks for the advice. Yep Barlow I would turn I into a prem mid if he's not fit. Seems really hard to pick the forwards and backs this year

Pretty Standard team which I can not really fault apart from a couple of personal opinions.  Obviously everyone thinks their team is the best basically because they have structured it to suit themselves.
If you are having doubts on porps I would keep an eye on the performance of Gary Rohan/ Jordan Lisle/Jesse White and others in that price range in NAB cup and if happy with one replace porps with them. All around the same price and will only use a maximum of $70k of your cash.
Not a fan of cloke as he is too inconsistent so would change him to any super prem forward. (Goodes, Fyfe, Pav, Johnson).
Alternately you could use your cash to bring in a 4th super mid prem to replace Barlow (Selwood. Priddis etc)
I would also look at replacing McDonald with a better rook as I am concerned that he was not named in Leadership group may not be playing enough games regularly to become your cash cow.  Maybe look at Koby Stevens as replacement.

As Colliwobblers mentioned, very solid side, with a few deficiencies across the forward line. Spending that cash to upgrade the Porpoise would be your best bet imo, with the option to change Barlow to a 450-500k fwd/mid if need be.
Swallow is a good unique pick, especially give Boomer is likely to spend more time forward as he gets on.

Thanks Ringo McDonald has now question marks over him I think but he will still make money. But will he get enough games to make him a better choice than a rookie playing most of the first 10 or so games? MC good poijnt on forwards have been a troubled area for me in first few drafts. Yep mid backman like Lake or Grimes are in my thinking but have to have another look at it. Will have a look at your teams now. Thanks everyone. i would go away from cloke as key position players generally can go missing in games more then fwd/mids, you could use some cash to upgrade him or even downgrade to the up and coming zaharakis and then youll have even more cash to splash on upgrading porpois and maybe barlow.

overall good side 8/10 for me but 250k in the bank is far too much, i cant stand having money in my bank to start with, get points on the board early i reckon.
