Atm melbourne have two positions open for rookie listed players to be upgraded. One will probably go to Dan Nicholson and the other is out of James Magner and Thomas Couch. Does anyone know who is looking better for the spot atm?

Too hard to tell at the moment, both have played well at VFL level and are strong bodied. I would imagine that both will play NAB Cup so perhaps the best performed of the 2 will get the upgrade.

Halfway through Melbourne's intraclub match today and Couch has been impressive. Magner didn't play and I'm not sure why.

Nicholson also impressive so far.

ahhhh.
Was trying to keep couch quiet so no one would pick him up

haha same has been in my team since the start, theres been aout 10 articles on him in the herald sun as well

Couch has been short listed with the other rookies for a forward bench spot.
