3 fwd rookies leaves you VERY thin come rd1. The 3 super prems in the middle could be too heavy given the deficiencies elsewhere. Def/Rucks are good, very well balanced. Imo i'd downgrade Barlow to a rook and Juddy to a 550k player and yhen get one or two mid priced forwards.

Not a bad team though, good job.

Not a bad team - You have to take risks in SC and I like the risk with 3 forward rooks as you have strength in other lines. Providing the rookies you select following NAB cup are all scoring 80+ you will not be losing much.
You would have seen comments on H Mac previously so you are aware of risk.
8/10 at the moment

Much worse imo. Why have 350k cash left over? Surely there are better picks than Bartel/Horsely? Up to you I guess, but i'd stick with my original team over this one if I were you.

Would change judd for a murphey or Boyde.
350k in the bank is way too much. Try to make an upgrade before rd 1 with that cash as its a wasted trade. Macintoch to a better ruck, and I would personally try to fit barlow back in (from your changes)

yeah changes were way worse. original team was pretty good, but the thing you have to think about is which lines to be slightly undermanned on.

i would consider downgrading any one of your 4 prem mids and upgrading one of your fwd rookies to give you a bit of balance. nice team overall though.

Your first team was much better... there are a few risky players like deledio(recent back injury but should be ok) mcintosh(will he come back to form?) and having a huge mid field hurts you by putting 3 rookies up forward. I would downgrade a mid and upgrade a forward. First team I would give a 8/10 and second a 6.5/10

DEF - cant go wrong with goddard and deledio, only thought on enright for me is that his ageing and at some point he will have to slow down, im sure he will be fine but just my personal thought on him. broughton like - hoping lyon doesnt destroy his running play with his defensive mindset providing he gets his space to roam the paddock he should do better than last year.
lake and clarke are the risks most people seem to be taking, heard lake isnt playing any nab cup games, and not too sure on clarke. Rooks are anyones guess as you can only go by hearsay from their past.

MID - solid mids, cant fault them. just weary of swans starts to the year, his started a little sluggish opposed to when he gets going and is killing it. If anything look at a unique for judd like A Swallow from the kangas for example, got the captancy this year, you'll pocket some extra cash to bolster another line of attack !

RUCK- as long as sandi keeps his feet to himself he will be gold as usual and HMAC should earn you some decent cash, if anything you could always look at kreuzer or maric as a sideways trade if your not sold on him. rooks are the same as most teams solid!

FWD- goodes and pav are solid, with pav being pav and goodes having such an easy draw to start the year. not sold on johnson, last year he dominated but years gone by his been mr inconsistant so just be wary of that. Risky with the rooks (lots here) but all look to be decent cash cows come the season! heard somewhere crozier had some sort of minor injury possibly? (not 100% sure)
