Unique team! Alot of smokies that could fire or peeter out. Duffield is one that I would reconsider as he could be a bit of a dud again. Also Mcdonald's a big risk as he could only play a half a season, I'd look at a younger GWS option. There's a lot of risk in this team, just make sure there's enough proven player to balance out the smokies. Just my opinion!  ;D

Thanks for the replies! Im hoping that under Lyon, Duffield will be able to regain his form as Saints defenders in the past had a tendency to score well under Ross' game plan. If Mcdonald only plays half a season I think that should be fine as he should score well early for a player only priced at 98k.

Those trades would mean I would be going into round one with Goddard, Houli, Ellis and Morris all sharing the Round 13 bye as well as Franklin, Robinson and Martin in the forwards. Ive selected Hanley purely because of his bye round and the fact he played 22 games last year indicating reasonable durability. Duffield is the same and so even if they were to only average 85 for the year, they would most likely still be in the top 7 scoring forwards come seasons end.

Ill be watching Veszpremi over the nab cup to see how he fits into the doggies lineup

At the momemt, my current concerns are with the forward rookies on offer at the moment. Not sure how likely they will be to play consecutive games early

would expect Ellis and Morris to have been cashed in before round 13 so dont take most starting rookies into bye calculations, only keepers!

That is true. I think that if you can get an even spread of players it gives you more flexibility with your trading though.
