So here's just a list of players IMO will break out this year (to average 90-105):

-Ben Howlett
-Nathan van Berlo - Personally think he'll average 105-110 and will comfortably outscore the rest.
-Luke Shuey
-Rory Sloane
-Jack Trengove
-Jack Zieball
-Robbie Gray
-Hamish Hartlett
-Patrick Dangerfield
-Jake Melksham
-Leigh Adams

so, who's on your radar?
who do you already have in your team?
and do you have the balls to pick them?

Just Clancy

Which MID option?

I can't decide...

Pendlebury, Ablett, Gibbs, Selwood and Sloane/Shuey

or

Pendlebury, Ablett, Gibbs, Watson and vanBerlo

or

Pendlebury Ablett, Gibbs, A.Swallow and Trengove

Colliwobblers

i have none, i wish i had the guts to take trengove, firstly then shuey, maybe ziebell, too that was my 3 officially a breakout season is not what they average but how much they increase, which usually ends them up between 80-100, but its the lift from say 65 -71 - 92 that makes that third year the "breakout" year.

The problem is even if a player breaks out and scores 20 more than last season, yeah you make some money but if they don't become a keeper they need to be traded and probably werent as smart as a rook and an elite gun would have been

or would they?

that's why i'm really heading towards Watson + VanBerlo as they could both easily average 105+
but I think Shuey, Trengove and Sloane will both average 100-105,

I cant decide either but , out of them ? i would chose Swallow & Trengove

Ziplock

selwood and sloane, then swallow and trengove

that's my order anyway.

The F.A.R.K.

screw mid price mids screw midpricers all together

I have three in total and they are hanley, dangerfield and adams who are in defence and fowards respectively

guns and rooks all the way

Ive gone with 2, Grimes and Ziebell. Probably am going to die of anxiety without Barlow in my team though :/

So Selwood beats Watson by 10 ppg and Sloane loses to Van Berlo by how many per game?

IMO:

Selwood = 115
Watson 105-110
Van Berlo = 103-108
Sloane = 95-100
...Shuey = 97-102

I think ot would be much safer to go with another rookie if you cant afford a prem... If the midpricer fails or doesnt increase enough you will be upgrading him anyways, where as there is a lot more upside and less risk in taking another rookie.

my (unlikely) Final MID:
Pendles, SMJ, Gibbs, A.Swallow, Van Berlo
or
Vb > Shuey
and
Swallow > Selwood
?

Well ive gone
Swan, Pendles, Selwood, Barlow, rookie, rookie (rookie, rookie)

Much less risk, much more potenital in my opinion, just to open your mind a bit :)
