The F.A.R.K.

The top pic is tex atm and the bottom pic is tex round 1 2011

I read today he has been shortened into 26 bucks for coleman and I think you would be silly not to watch pre season. He is garunteed every game this year barring injury/suspension ect. because Tippett is likely to go to GC. He has always had incredible goal kicking potential but the thing that lets him down is his marking, pressure and defensive work. Now i am seeing these pics I reckon Tex is the premium foward to lead the youth of crows to the top 4 this year but what does that equate to in DT terms

Bruce McAvaney

He should have a good year.

Top 4 is a big call.

Bak2Form

i will never get him again!

The F.A.R.K.

Well now TEX has muscles he is "special" and the ladies think he is "delicious"

He is still incredibly young same with danger and the easy fixture Watch nab i guess

Hawka

Crows top 4 ? hahahahahahahahaha

The F.A.R.K.

They will be at least top 8 and possibly top 4. Look at the eagles in 2011 that will be crows 2012. They have such a young list full of absolute future guns i.e sloane, vince, tex, petrenko, jacobs, talia ect. Surely now tex has muscle to win contests he can kick 50+ goals this year he kick bags of six and all of them are on the run but now he can add set shots to his game the crows will be getting at least 2 goals more every game

crows would be VERY VERY dissapointed to NOT make the 8 this season.

All depends on 1) the coaching staff.  2) Sydney / Essendon / St Kilda / Bulldogs / Fremante / Richmond / Norths seasons.

I agree the Crows have a side that can make the 8 and even win finals. (one or two) :)

Top 4 is pretty much locked away i think with the pies cats hawks and blues to be realistic. Then you have West Coast if they can maintain they can push for 4th-6th.

After that you have the if's the but's and the maybe's

I discount the lions (just) , GWS / GCS / PORT / DEES /

So to simplify

TOP 5

PIES
CATS
HAWKS
BLUES
EAGLES

BOTTOM 5

LIONS
DEES
POWER
GIANTS
SUNS

MIDDLE 8

FREMANTLE
ESSENDON
SYDNEY
ADELAIDE
ST KILDA
BULLDOGS
RICHMOND
NORTH

So of that "Middle 8" Adelaide needs to finish higher than 5 of them to make the 8.

I'll back Freo to get all bashed up again and not travel well. Thats one.

St Kilda won't bounce back nor will the doggies thats 2 more.
Richmond will lose too much ground in the first half with thier tough draw, thats 4, need one more......
North Melbourne still don't rate them, so there you go

Sydney and Essenden 6 and 7 Crows sneak into the 8 ????

Sorry WAY off topic

The F.A.R.K.

Id rank crows beside WCE and Blues even tho im a port supporter (look what dt does to supporting teams)

Blues can be iffy especially if waite is out because they have wek fwds and WCE are youthful just like crows

Mate you are having a go at someone needing help in another thread for being a 'newbie' yet you post a stupid suggestion like crows can make top 4? crows would be lucky to be anywhere near the top 8 they have no defence and every other aspect of there game is developing, Also taylor walker has always had muscles he was built like a brick showerhouse when he was 18 and tearing it up for norwood.

QuoteYou are obviously a newbie first danny stanley now these seriously. Read the forum and actuall do some research rather than get us to feed it to you on a plate

out of all the players you mentioned there id only consider 4 of them but im not telling you who because you should do your own research

I will sing "We are the navy blues" if Carlton finish above West Coast at the end of the Home and Away season this year.  ::)

I meant that if tex performs as well as his guns have developed over preseason crows will be finishing top 4. I think it is fair to say they are a top 8 side im not saying they are top 4 because yes geelong, pies and hawks are locked away but they are probs battling it out with wce and carlton (maybe a few others) for the last top 4 spot. so get your facts right or get flowered

JBs-Hawks

The only reason the Crows could even possibly scrape into the 8 is because of there easy draw. They are not a top 8 team there defense has been annihilated by expansion teams the Fwds and mids are potential elites but s Thompson is the only one that has joined that bracket. Carlton has an elite mid and west coast has stars in the mids rucks and ff and fb they are in a different league to th crows

Tex Walker leading the Crows to the Top 4 of the NAB Cup, what does it equate to in DT terms?

Absolutely nothing.

The F.A.R.K.

Daniel Talia is a very capable half back and rutten will be back soon. In the meantime they have Luke Thompson, Sam Shaw, Lewis Johnston and Shaun McKernan to fill the void temporaily. Then you have Johncock, Doughty and quality half backs like Mackay, Petrenko, Luke Brown, Van Berlo and even Pops will get a run there. Pretty sure that is a decent backline. Thie mids are strong Thompson and Sloane will form an untaggable duo then Dangerfield is still only 21 and set for a breakout. Then Tippett and Walker who both know how to find the goals just cant win contested marks. Sanderson has worked hard on putting on muscle and this will help them take more marks in foward 50 therefore more shots on goal. Add to this the team age is still on of the lowest in the leagues and they will be top 4 ina  few years and at least top 8 this year. Go ahead and argue all they want but the proof will be in the pudding at the end of the year

JBs-Hawks

They are in the same boat as Richmond and Melbourne lots of up comers and maybe a year behind ease don lots of potential no stars yet
