It has come down to a choice out of these 2 players in my forward line, I am a bit stumped as who to pick, either of them should be a good pick but what are peoples thoughts on these 2?

+1
Haha +2

Dusty has the DPP, but if Cyril really has fixed his running style, you can't go past him.
He's a gun. Plain and simple, if he had no injury worries, I have no doubt he'd be in 90% of teams.

Dusty's an upgrade target after his bye when things get easier for him.

Sizzle is in my starting side

Has the potential to dominate the league if he can stay fit...especially playing for the Hawks, opposition coaches will have a wonderful time trying to shut everyone (medium sized players) down forward of centre

Rioli
Osborne
Smith
Savage
Bruest
Young

All game winners on thier day

Then theres a few other players that roll through the forward line

Hodge
Pops
Lewis
Bruce (apparently this year)
Burgoyne

With Sizzle hanging around the feet of Buddy, Hale, Gunston and Roughy .... then add a bit of midfield time, then add the abilty of evading 3 opposition players at once with the ball in his hands

Has potential me thinks

he is following the footsteps of GAJ. imagine if cyril goes 120+!!!

guess you weigh it up - dusty does have dpp on his side for one and far less injury risk.
cyril is the better pick its just the durability concern

Id be starting with Dustin Martin.
Seems everyone is saying he should be an upgrade target because he has a hard draw, but I still think he can tonne up against good teams for sure. I have nothing against Cyril as a pick, I'd just prefer to have Buddy over Cyril.
Buddy is going to explode IMO with the extra midfield time.

Zaharakis / Cloke / Boomer?

Seems people are worried about Dustbin's draw and Cyril's hammies and Buddy.

Martin upgrade later?

Zaharakis does have potential.

Boomer is proven.

Cloke has no licence! but often scores well.

pretty tough to get all the prems you start with on fire from the get go. ah, one year i'll come out and win the weekly round 1  :P

I am one of those wary of Martin and here is my justification.
Martins SC scores last year against the teams he plays in the first 10 rounds:

Carlton  76 and 55
Collingwood 109
Melbourne 68
Geelong 75
West Coast 97
Port Adelaide 93
Sydney 79
Essendon 67
Hawthorn 96
St Kilda 92.

Not the scores you would like from your F3,  Definite Upgrade target though.

Who is the better player Leigh Matthews or Gary Ablett Jnr? thats basically who you are picking with these two. Cant go wrong.

Ziplock

well... if I was picking one for my team atm, I would say ablett wins out by a hair...
