Any bullies fans wanna comment on Hargrave and his past injuries?

Age - 29
Games - 198

Previous games & averages
2007  22gms  80ave
2008  22gms  76ave
2009  20gms  96ave
2010  19gms  76ave
2011  5gms    64ave

Is now discounted down from last years (injured) average of 64, to now 51, or $280k.

He was my first fantasy burn back a couple of years ago, still etched in my memory.  :'(

Everyone seems negative on his injury past and I assume this is for good reason.  Can someone inform us on the nature of his injuries, and the likelyhood of him averaging 76+ again?  Because if he can average 76, a 25 point gain isnt anything to sneeze at, and would put him on the shortlist for good-value backline midpricers this year.  Not the best option I know, but not bad if he can pull it together, no?

Also any speculation on how the return of Lake would help/hinder his scores wont go astray. (I'm backing it will help)

Now whats it take to get a 'cheer' point around here?   :P

players dont become less injury prone as they get older

Just because you get older doesnt mean youre more durable. I thought that was obvious.

Very true Bruce and there would be a stat for that  ;)

Why?  That what I'm trying to get at.  From 2004 until 2009 he played minimum of 20 games each year, then 19 in 2010, then injured last year.

Im asking what was the nature of his injuries so we can get a better idea of the probability of him bouncing back.

hip and groin problems dont go away in a few months

No-one said he's more durable because he's older.  Of course older players become more injury prone.  Im asking why everyone is so negative on his injury following a long durable career.  What makes his injury so different?

Bruce McAvaney

hes a questionable pick at best even if he is 100% healthy. combine that with history of injuries lately and he is not worth worth taking a punt on.

Hargrave, couldn't quite

strikes91

was considering stratton at his price with the amount of ball hogging the hawks did in their defence last season
