its too hard to offer you options without seeing your whole team. So based only on these two options then go option 2. Hmac is the worry, but selwood and fyfe will comfortably outscore mitchell and reidwoldt to make up the difference IMO.

Mid- ablett, rockliff, ?, barlow, hayes, mcdonald (docherty, kerridge)
ruck- leuenberger, ? (giles, staley)
fwd- chappy, martin, ?, brown, porplyzia, zorko, smedts (treloar, couch)

rookies are bound to change after nab cup. forward could be F1, 2, or 3

My suggestion would be to make a choice between Barlow and Hayes, they pick Mummy in the ruck along with selwood and Fyfe. This leaves around $170k-$200k to pick pretty much whichever mid rookie you want.

i removed hayes and mcintosh and got coniglio and sandi with $2200 left over. not sure if that would be a gain in points though

actually if i went sandilands back to kreuzer, i could upgrade barlow to a judd or anyone under his price i think. just a thought as i dont think i would keep barlow for the entire year unless he was averaging 110+ or there abouts

The difference between Barlow and Judd will (hopefully) be greater than the gap between Kreuzer and Sandi.
If you couldnt tell I have Kreuzer :P.
