gilham - Should play several matches pushing the door on hawks best 22
seb tape - Should play several matches possible more then half.
bastinac - If fit in Kangaroos best 21, Breakout year this year possible.
cameron wood - May play if Bucks decides to rest Jolly not expecting another big from the big spud.
staker - Knee reconstruction won't play all year.
bate - New coach new life one of the bigger bodies in the demons forward line may play.
griffiths - From Richmond? May play could be rotated heavily with the amount of forwards richmond have.

Yeah the league sounded interesting so thought I might as well see how I go ;)

By the way benny can I get a clarification on the three trades before the season?

So obviously I am going to trade out Staker since he is out for the season, can I move McVeigh in to the defense and trade Staker out for a mid and count that as only one trade?

Yeah the 3 trades can be made as per usual player for player providing they play in the same positions or the DPP option can be used before the start of the AFL season.  Staker is a DEF/FWD DPP only. Mark McVeigh is a DEF/MID DPP only.  Unfortunatley you cant utilise the DPP for that trade. Sorry CrowsFan can't be done good thinking though. You'll just have to take your medicine and trade Staker out. If you're not happy about this just take another look at your midfield!!!!! :)

I stand corrected.  I'd forgotton about the new DPP rule. Here it is guys.

Many coaches jumped on board dual-position players (DPP) last season - that is, players who can be selected in more than one position and can be moved on the field during the week.

Next season the new trade screen will allow coaches to trade players for someone in a different position - providing you have a DPP player to cover them.

For example, if you want to trade out midfielder Scott Pendlebury (for some reason) until now you only had the option of swapping him for another midfielder.

Next year you can trade out Pendlebury from your midfield, switch a DPP player who can play in the midfield (say, def/mid Bryce Gibbs) into the middle, and trade in a defender - effectively swapping a midfielder for a defender.

You can definately make that trade as 1 trade CrowsFan. :)

Mate i couldnt believe it when i got that team i need ta work on the ruck and fwds and i dunno bout mackie but im quite happy with the midfield
