Apart from a 6 game patch where he averaged well below his season average, Dangerfield was on fire! Surely, his 5th year, will be a true breakout year with more consistensy on the cards + an easy draw!

Agree, with Adelaide having a pretty easy draw and surely this year could be his year to breakout. Not in my team at the moment but could replace Dustin Martin while i save $100 000.

I honestly think he is at or around the price that is his peak, i think the only way is down he is not ever going to be a premium star midfielder he is just consistent and hard, so if you do get him you would be getting him to make below or his average he has never struck me as a person who has the ability do rip out 100+ scores consistently.

if he gets the midfield time, he will be able to pull out those big scores! under neil craig he played mostly in the forward pocket and the ball never really came to him, and when he's in midfield he plays like joel selwood and can get to that level and sanderson will almost definitely give him the opportunity, will probably avg 90+ but maybe not 100+ just yet as consistency is an issue

Look at his stats. He can easily pump out 95+ scores. With another preseason under his belt, constistency will come an easy draw and the Porpis back in the fowardline... I am picking Dangerfield!,

for SC he may bit elite level never in DT, all the things mentioned make him worth considering, but he will need to impress A LOT in nab cup to get a run round 1 in my team, i have thought about him tho. Crows have a great run

bomberboy0618

Ive got him locked. One of these days he is going to average 100 and I reckon its this year.

bowyanger

Ive got him in my team at the moment but Im not overly confident.

Hes having a great pre season and Ive watched his progress over the last 3 years pretty closely

Whilst I think he will definately progress again this year, the Crows are missing another 1 or 2 stars that would help out Dangerpants' game / PPG...If Sloan can progress again this year (more than likely) & with the emergence of VB & Thommo as stars, things are looking up.

The only time he will get to the level of Selwoods game is when he has players like Bartel, Chappy, Ling (last year), Corey, SJ & Enright etc to get the ball from / give it to / get protection from...I reckon Id look pretty handy on a footy field with those blokes helping me out.!!

I think he is definitely one to consider. Adelaide plays Gold Coast, GWS and Port within the first 5 rounds of the season. Stocking up on some Adelaide mid-priced players to turn into premiums by round 8 could be a viable plan. At least Dangerfield should get a decent price rise at the start of the year, enough to help you decide whether to keep him or upgrade him to someone else for (possibly) little cash

This is Deja Vu are you the same people for the last three years saying "this is his year" his breakout year?

Colliwobblers

HaHa No not me my brother in law and my father in law had him last season and i laughed my arse off all season long, but this season.....

Come on how good would it be to watch him SPUD it up in your in laws teams one year then have them write him off and get him yourself and have him average 100.

Money can't buy that it's Gold,

Same things get said every year about Danger. I would stay away until you see results he is right up there with Missy Higgins in the never again will i pick stakes every year.

JamSainter

Well Gary Ablett 'broke' out in his 6th year and this is Patty's 5th and with an easy draw ayyy I like my odds.
But to be honest, the less amount of people going Dangerfield will be better for me :D
