Sam Gilbert was a star back in 2010 until he got caught up in this bullsh!t nude photo scandal with NRoo.. but this year the Saints will be back on track, especially with a dream starting draw to the season! He's only priced at 365k, a bit of a smokey but could definitely be a goodee. IMO will average 88-93.

Paul Duffield averaged 89 in '09 and then 87 in '10 - but dropped to averaging 75ish last year when he started playing this 'key defender' (the broughton) style game which is a killer for DT. But with the new inclusion of Zac Dawson, this may mean he'll be back to his best and break out, like we all thought he would last year! IMO will average 85-95.

SO, who will it be? Gilbert or Duffield?

Maybe to Duff. No way to Gilb.
why not though?

btw, I've still got Gray as my 5th FWD, you still do too?

Duffman was the best rebound defender a few years ago and has an excellent kick. I think Lyon will utilize this and try and free him up to do so. Gilbert was just shocking last year and seeing as everyone will have Goddard. Why get another St Kilda back?

Yeah, still got Gray in there. As my 4th fwd.  ;)

Don't really need to have either...

Haha, I'm not getting either.  ;)

Few things from Port about Gray's preseason.

Port Adelaide fitness coach Cam Falloon says criticism of Robbie Gray's injury prone body is not warranted.

"He hasn't got as bad a body as everyone thinks," Falloon said.

"Robbie did everything we asked of him during the off-season and hasn't missed a beat yet. We'll keep a close eye on him, but he completed 95 per cent off last pre-season, so to be honest he's not on a modified program at all."

Port Adelaide forward Robbie Gray is hoping for a change of luck on the injury front after having his best-preseason to date.

"It's the most training I've managed to do in a pre-season, so I guess it's good from that point of view," he said.

"I've had a good pre-season so I'm pretty confident heading into the season -but I say that every pre-season. I'm doing everything I can. I'm just praying it all holds up and that I can get through the season."

shhh keep him as our unique mate  ;)

well it's either him or NRoo and I can't decide!!
would you rather Gray and Hayes, NRoo and Hayes or NRoo and Gray?

Master Q

As you can see Windi, I'm not in much trouble  ;)

Windigo

Hm I'll put it this way:

Gray=untapped DT potential

Roo=Proven scorer in the past, but his dominance may be over....

I'd rather Gray & Hayes TBH.

Haha Q. The old 'midfield rookie tactic'.  :P

haha you miss 4 premo's in Round 13......
too expensive mate - the DEF is the lowest scoring sector of DT, no need to spend big.

I am pretty keen on both. Won't have them though. Considering making Grimes my 3rd defender (after Lids and Godd) and having Conca and Armstrong backing him up.

yeah Goddard, Lids, Grimes, Conca, Armstrong could definitely work
but then compared to mine that's Birchall vs. Conca
and birchall wins that.
but it depends where you use the cash elsewhere!
