Would love both but because of the byes this year if you could choose one of these absolute superstars who would it be

Lions01

Swan, top averaging player last year even thou he played through an injury in the middle part of the season. Dont think you can go wrong either way thou

In a sense Swan is underpriced. He was playing in the fwd line before his Arizona trip last year... Swan.

Have to go Pendles, he played all 22 games, averaged 116, he's 4 years younger and still can go up another gear.
Swan is an absolute star, but is at his peak and may not play all 22 games.

IMO:
Pendles to average 118 - 22 games x 118 = 2596
Swan to average 121 - 21 games x 121 = 2541

- Pendles is also cheaper. lock and load

You have to take into account that you should be able to cover Swan's missing game (if he has one) with a rookie who should score more than 55 if you have the right ones ;)
I'm still on the Swan train. You get what you pay for and this guy is an absolute superstar.

I'm with Swan..but don't think you can lose to much selecting pendles.

Yeah true. There will be a points difference at the end of the year of about 30k imo anyway.

My priorities in selecting mid premos:
1. Will they be in top 6 by seasons end? This rules out Barlow, Scotty T, and probably Watson, Stanton and others
2. Byes.

So basically my lightly pencilled in mids are: Swan, GAJ, Jelwood and Rockers
On short list: Pendles, Gibbs, Boyd

I think swan will probably average more but I like Pendles more as a player so theres a little bias towards him
