Went to this.

Lake looked pretty rusty, but his attitude is good. Got outmarked by Cordy in a one-on-one, but that's just due to Ayce being a gun.

Liam Jones is/will be the best pack mark in the league. Kicking has improved a little too. Outstanding game.

Clay Smith didn't hurt his chances of playing round 1 at all. Another Scott Lucas though, only has a left foot.

Veszpremi played off half back and did really well.

Bob Murphy was BOG. Giansiracusa 2nd.

Higgins didn't play his role well at all, unless his role was to do not a whole lot, and let his opponent (Murphy) dominate the game.

Wallis won plenty of ball, but can't kick. DT specialist by the looks.

Cross, Griffen, Tutt, Howard didn't do a whole lot.

Tom Hill looked impressive at CHB. Good agility for a 200cm player, reads the play well.

Talia looks like he is well off the pace of AFL football.

Panos was quiet, but kicked a couple of goals including a gem from the pocket.

Grant did absolutely nothing.

Cooney did as expected. Some nice things, but was only going at 60%. Moved freely though.

Dahlhaus was very good.

Libba and Picken were solid. Picken has bulked up.

Minson dominated the ruck, but the 3 others all did some nice things at times. Roughead's second efforts were top notch.

Skinner had a crack, but still makes the most basic errors.

DJ was dominating before he got a hand injury and went off.

Wood, Williams were decent but not outstanding.

what possies did murphy and gia play

Their usual spots. Murphy in the backline. Giansiracusa up forward.

Of the midfielders Picken and Liberatore were the best by far.

interesting to see what role murphy plays, if in defense this year. he provided plenty of run from 1/2 back last year, in the

absence of lake, hargrave, gilbee and harbrow. will he play more in forward line ? he is a great user of the ball

He'll be in the backline again in 2012 for sure.

I'm thinking about both Bobby Murphy and Griffen this year. Thoughts?
