alrite so i finally setteled on my team...

obvisouly like everyone not completly happy hows it going
averaging about 2050....

backs-like how they are going
mids-rookies fail but will give them time
rucks-when play will fire
fwds-need change, well below where they should be

thinking i need to get rid of stevie j and dickson

thinking stevie j > nroo or boomer and dickson > kennedy

i have 10,900 left in bank

wat you think?

GoldDigger

Think I'd lose Ledger and Hall for Milera and Kennedy - move Devon to mids to achieve that. (I'm losing Ledger and Paine the same way...).

BundyOP

round 3. 1 trade was done

dickson -> kennedy

leaves me with 4,300 in bank

with round 3 carnage need to trade out:
luey. thinking macintosh or will sit untill cox prices goes down 1 more week.
fyfe. will wait and see how long he out for but thinking nroo

stilll need to go ledger -> old mac but got one more week to get on bo

team for round 4 before trades will be

backs: goddard, deledio, birchall, shaw, bugg, clake, ellis (lake, morris
mids: ablett, selwood, swallow, magner, coniglio, shiel (smith, ledger)
rucks: mumford, giles (luey, stephonson)
fwds: franklin, johnson, porps, kennedy, smith, hall, smedts (fyfe, goodes)

unless smedts is named will get a 0...so may have to trade fyfe....

cheers in advance for your help!

If you pickup Kreuzer/Hmac now, it effectively means you think they will become keepers (average ~100 over the entire season).
Kreuzer/Hmac were great starting picks, but not sure I am prepared to bank on them both becoming keepers - imo placeholders at best.  Bringing in a midpricer for a double trade is not worth it.

Right now, I would be probably inclined to take Naitanui over Cox anyway.  But yeah a lot depends on what happens with Fyfe, because that opens new trade ideas.

i see your point charlie...cheers

mm yer its a wait and see situation and untill then can just play around with wat i could do

ruck options i see i have are. kruzer, hmac, jacobs, nicnat, cox. im even thinking going longer.

the only fwd options i see are nroo and harvey

will be short money if i go jacobs or nicnat and boomer tho....

charliesheen

I agree with all those options.  Personally, I wouldn't take Hmac/Kreuzer/Jacobs as rucks.  Don't like any other forwards atm besides the one's you mentioned.

Lets hope Fyfe plays.

BundyOP

yer lets....or i will just have to go luey >nicnat and fyfe >nroo

or else i will have no other chance to get any good options!

cheers charlie

charliesheen

Also, noticed you don't have D.Martin.  His looked absolute rubbish so far  :-\

BundyOP

yer glad i dont have him. martin was only in 1 of my pre season teams, never had sidebottom either, not thinking of either of them at the moment either! maybe sidebottom seeing as ball out now.

BundyOP

thinking of going luey > longer
then fyfe > boomer

will leave me with about 320,000 in bank to get cox in hopefully 2 weeks or get a mid prem.

next will def go ledger to macdonald

tho cox in under performing he is a premium for a reason and see him as my only other option, i dont think nicnat will be consistent enough.

thoughts?

Looking like Fyfe will play.  Would just go straight to Naitanui/Ryder and grab McDonald next week.  I am very confident in Naitanui averaging 100+ this year.

Wouldn't surprise me @ all if Mumford gets injured later in season, and you bring Cox in cheap anyway.

I think you have nearly convinced me...natanui will average 100+ this year too i think, just dont think he will be top 5 tho, he will hive me some uniquness now too!

Still not convinced fyfe will hold up for the year so still thinking fyfe to nroo. and with fyfes price to prob go down wont be able to sodways trade him to anyone devent...

then shaw has thrown in problems to....eant to trade him cos he been underperforming too. but only options i see are malceski and sdcock who both have risk in them too. or bock. but am i being too trigger happy with shaw. Do see him as one of top 5 end of year.

charliesheen

Who are your top 5.

Mumford/Sandilands - injury/suspension prone, so total season score is reduced
Goldstein - Shared ruck
Jacobs/McEvoy - don't dominate games.
Cox - overpriced, and ruck roving and playing forward most of game
Ryder - can have role changes & inconsistent
Naitanui - rucking close to 75% of the time over Cox.

I think you are underrating Naitanui a fair bit.  I didn't rate him either preseason, but he is WCE Number 1 ruck if you have been watching the games.  He is literally winning every single hit out to advantage.

BundyOP

Mm i see wat your saying. Thanks.

Im thinking ill sit with shaw and fyfe. dont want to be too trigger happy. fyfe played most of last season qith a bung shoulder. and niether are ltis.
