Free Kick

That's a good team with strong performers on each line.. I like the balance..

Backs are fine: Grimes a risk for obvious injury history but given his price one I'm taking also. And Clark will get games at the pies and is a running back too cheap to pass up.

Mids: First four safe premiums, and four rooks is the way to go.

Solid rucks, and the standard rookies for most sides

Fwds: J Brown and Proplyzia double is popping up alot but again could be excellent value if they stay fit and on the park. I also have both.

Rookies look OK - (pending NAB cup performances)

DPP is a bit over rated. You don't want to miss out on the best forward/back rookie, just so you can enable DPP in the mid field.

Clifton in mids for Zorko
Zorko in fwd for Cameron.

You can enable DPP later on when it comes to upgrading and new trade options.

Rest of team is pretty stock standard, may want to consider Franklin, Goodes, SJ as upgrade targets rather than starting picks, but really thats nit picking.

cheers for the feedback.

made a few little changes
main one being...deledio -> birchall - feel birchall will have a big year and delids will slip a bit

prob will make more but only rooks!

wat should i do with my money?

Ringo

Solid Team now:
Def: Slight risk with Grimes
Mids: 4 solid prems
Rucks - A1
Forwards; Slight Risk with Brown and Porplyzia.

I would use the $76k to get rid of the risks  Grimes to Hurn or Heppell or Brown to Sidebottom, Dangerfield or Nahas.  To get extra cash and increase options you could also downgrade Porps to a rokkie.

Overall 8.5/10

You have stated that you will only change the Rookies in your team.
Backs I would get rid of Wilkes and replace him with either Bugg or Tomlinson
Mids I would probably make no change here as you have a solid line up although you could looked at replacing either Shiel or Zorko
Rucks Very strong
Fwds I think Ahmed Saad will have a Better year than Porplyzia your bench players are good enough.

Overall: This team is well balance on each line maybe 1 premium short as i only count 12.    I give your team a 7.5/10

thanks guys

had wilkes and saad in and out many a times....will prob have saad in for walsh and bugg in for wilkes by round 1 will see how wilkes and saad are used in nab

i prefer to take the risk with props rather than grimes

so thinking grimes to hurn, would like burgoyone but too many bye 13 and not sold on heppell

BundyOP

Coneous

Looking good, I would be more inclined to upgrade smurphy to lids and upgrading Clarke to either hargrave or lake depending who looks better over the next couple of weeks.. That's what I would do anyway..

You're def rookies look fine, pretty much the same as me, Ellis, Morris and bugg..

BundyOP

haha

sorry Coneous, i must of updated my team and post as you commented, at least i did wat you were thinking....

cheers!

Jay

Backs: premium choices are sold! Few Q marks around lids tho! Hargrave over Lake mate! I dont think spurr is up to it.

Mids: premium choices are good. As are rookies...have you thoughg of caddy/lucas for m4. Or even simon hogan?

Ruc: absolutely brilliant :)

Fwd: premium choices arent as good...steveJ is inconsistent, rather fyfe/pav! A big no to dickson mate!

Not a bad team 8/10

thanks for feedback jayman.

have gotten rid of spurr for guthrie for the moment

prob personal preference for lake/hargrave im going lake.

still question lids too.

have thought about caddy, but i think ill get more cash from coniglio

i got onto stevie j last year and felt he was pretty consistent, i reckon he has even more to give. bit of a POD too.

i am yet to be set on rookies so will change many times and see who gets named round 1...

Wild Thing

BundyOP,

Agree that Hargrave should be in, but if your preference is Lake, so be it.  I'm not sold on Smedts at all and I think job security at Geelong this year will be a big issue for him.  I think Coniglio is a little pricy and you could get similar output from players up to $75k cheaper (eg Clifton).  Watch out for the rookie upgrades (Magner, Gibson).  Porplyzia is a no IMO as he's only played 20+ games once in the last 6 years and I'd be moving Devon Smith from midfield to forward line and using the extra cash to upgrade Lake in defence.  Saad has serious competition for a small forward spot from Milne, Schneider & Milera, which causes me concerns.  Dickson will be in and out all year IMO.

Good luck.
