Looking at going the 1 prem 3 rook ruck structure going into the season. Does anybody have any information regarding the likeliness of Derickx getting an early run? I understand Richmond have brought in ruckmen from other clubs and would like to know if this will prevent Tom from playing

Yeah, I would think that Rowe will play more games than Derickx this year. I heard an interview with Betts and Gibbs and they were saying that Rowe and Luke Mitchell will probably play games.

I will only consider Derickx if he has a good NAB and he's named for round 1.

Obviously without Jack Riewoldt, they structured up a bit differently, with Tyrone Vickery playing at centre half forward, Tom Derickx out of full forward, and Brad Miller playing as a floating third tall. i think he has more skill than Browne but Graham has improved and yeah Maric was recruited to be the number 1

I think i've said this somewhere else on the site in another thread but I'll line up an interview with Tom before the season starts and post a link to fanfooty.

I'm a journo at his former hometown newspaper.

A previous interview with him indicated that he will play mainly as a forward who will chop out in the ruck.

So you have to ask yourself - will he get gametime in the Tigers forward line.
