I know pav is meant to be moving forward which should in theory increase his output, however I cannot help but doubt him due to his age in what might not be a great team this year....

So who would you choose? The old bull over the young calves?

Cheers guys

Windigo

I have Sidebum & Pav.

I'm going with Ele's theory of D_Mart as a upgrade target after their bye. As their draw is fairly tough first half.

Pavlich battled niggles last season and was no where his best.

Don't read too much into that DT Talk article about being over 30.

Smashing a personal best and his over 30? Get on him I say!

If i had the cash i would go the Pav. If not.. Sidebum, Martin

lol i read that article looked at my team and had 7 of em. I Went chappy goodes St. Nick brown in forward line though. Just not sure on ross lyons plans for Pav. Read a report the other day as usual its the same old stuff his as fit and trim as ever. Think every player this pre season is having their best ever.

Let me slap some sense into you. Pav is fitter then he has ever been. Freo will be better then they have ever been. He is as safe a selection as anybody in your forward line. I think he will push mid 2 high 90's

Cheers Windigo. I still stand by this. D-Mart will be in my team after the byes (maybe before if cows peak and his draw looks a little nicer).
I'd look at making Sidebum and absolute LOCK and Pav a very close second. Currently havee Goodes over Pav but that might change....

Pav is on a mission this year.

Last year was woeful compared to other years.

Don't forget about everyone's extended time in the midfield!

Pav playing more forward this year!

I've got Martin and Sidearse so I think pretty highly of them, both young guns who promise a lot, meanwhile Pav is old.
