Currently looking for my 3rd mid, can afford anyone except for swanny, suggestions would be appreciated!

current midfield is; G.Ablett, Pendles, ???, Rockliff, J.Mcdonald, Shiel (Luke Brown, T.Mitchell)

cbf working out the byes, but could go heaps of people.

Murphy, Gibbs (for a unique), Selwood, Thompson

any of those boys could average 115+ this season.

i am also thinking jobe watson as a bit of a unique as well, started off very strong last year, thoughts on that?

if jobes hammys are right he is a definate possiblilty
he is one of the best midfielders going around, he is now really effective by foot and gets more clearances than some players get possesions

but if he has hammy trouble he isnt worth the risk

agreed, alright, its narrowed down to selwood, dal santo or a bit of a smokey in swallow?

one of the most consistent in the game and uses the ball really well

Dal danto, been one of the most consistent over the past 5 years. An Average game he still manages to scrap out 100+.

Dal Santo is almost just as good a Swan fantasy wise, have a look at the previous 5 years. Dal just goes under the radar more.

i guess, its maybe 5 points a game , which over the 12 weeks or so 60 odd points, lots of spots on the ranking difference,  so if the guy just need to get a few cheaper rookies to make enought to get swan,  then that would be the best option.  i figure hes only 10k-20k short... so it then would be a mistake to take anyone other than swan

I reckon there averages will be within a couple of points by the end of the year. But yes if you can scrap that extra cash from fiddling around somewhere Swan is always the first preference.
