I would upgrade waters or grimes as they are both injury prone....use the 130k spare cash to do it and you will be all sweet in my opinion

The thing is, I would like to keep a fair bit of money in the bank, as it worked really well for me last year.

Id be worried about carrying two injury prone guys in the one line.....especially waters as that elbow is flowered!!

Yeah both Waters and Grimes is a potential disaster IMO.

Derickx is still badly injured apparently so you might need a better Ruck

Maric will pretty much just get all their games

Traded Waters for Heppell and Derickx for a basement-priced ruckman. Just thought that I'd move Rowe from the forward line if I need cover.
Do you think it's worth downgrading Sidebottom or upgrading Christensen for one of N. Roo or LeCras?

Not a bad outfit. Think guys like winders and porps will score similar if not better than christo and cost less . You got a lot of guys (Zaha Sids Dusty) that will probably end the year in the range of 8-12 best forwards. With the cash id upgrade 2 of em 2 a goodes chappy or beams. You look to have done research on your rookies. Your got 8 out and out champions in God lids shaw ablett swan pendle buddy mcevoy(just). If you can get that number to 10 you will increase your output especially later in the season. Spend all the cash!!!!!!

I upgraded Zaha to Pavlich, as he seems to be having a ripper of a preseason. I also downgraded Sidebottom to Nick Riewoldt, who I think may be back to his best this year. I've now got $67,200 left.

Roo could be a good choice. Wait and see cup form. If he can get back some of his pace think he could be back in the top 7 forwards. He looked to struggle at times last season dont know if it was hammy soreness, age or what but definately didnt have that explosive speed his had in the past. team is fairly consistent with other teams out there.  In saying that, it should do really well. Only think is cox and giles are both out round 11, but i guess plenty of time between now and then to do some trades :)

Bring on the season, i cant wait !!!  Goodluck mate :)
