Pick a forward, any forward....

I can afford any forward, the obvious choice is Franklin, but is it worth saving a bit of cash and going for someone a bit cheaper, like Dusty Martin, ROK, Fyfe, Boomer etc?

Already have Stevie J and Pav as my two other ultra-premium forwards.

I would write down the top 10 forwards on a piece of paper or whatever without looking at the bye.  Then work backwards from there based on your budget and how you can efficiently use the remaining funds.

If you can fit Franklin in, it certainly won't hurt your team.  You should probably have D.Martin in your team, unless your expecting he will struggle early.

Well it was originally Martin who I had, but have freed up some cash from other areas in the team and have heard a few people questioning whether he will start slowly or not...

The other option is to keep Martin and upgrade Christensen to Monfries, but I think Christensen is going to be in for a big year.

I originally had Goodes but was advised to go with Martin because Goodes always seems to start a bit slow...

Martin plays his better games against weak opposition (imagine that!) and he has a pretty difficult start to the year. ROK isn't getting the attention he deserves.
