if lake can return to his 2010 average( including 192) then he is an absolute steal at 255k. he scored 10ish hundreds in 2010 with a streak of 6 (airstrike). he is a good deal although not very many people like him, he might aswell be the next presti(cashcow). in 2011 he scored from 40-60 but didnt really pop. i am sure he will average over 85 this season and therefore he is agood deal. on the  other hand we have courtney dempsey, who is very very injury prone and hasnt had a very good average, but as i presume he will play a bigger role for essendon this year and im hoping he will smash it this year. HE IS A BIG RISK!!! thoughts? ;)

Very keen to see lake in the nab! He will be a good buy if he stands up. Lake for mine! Big risk though. I have neither at this stage!

lake had one good yr in 2010 other wise he averaged 65.44 in the 5 yrs be4, he's 30 this month and in a average team compared to 2010 i dont c much upside

If I had to choose one, I'd choose Lake, although I'd prefer him in SC really.

I'd rather go Lake, I think Dempsey is a bit of a dud.

As a few before me have said neither. Too big a risk.

I will however be keeping an eye on Lake and if he looks the goods he may be an early trade-in before his price rises too much.

If Lake is back to his 2010 self then I would maybe consider.

But at this stage I wouldn't pick either.

I'd go up to a premium or down to a rookie rather then have the risks of Dempsey, Lake, Grimes, Waters etc.
