Is the Tigers draw making you think twice about choosing Richmond backs?

Are you concerned with the Tigers draw when choosing a Backman?

No, the rooks, Delidio, Conca, last years captain , are a chance with me.

Talk about a tricky draw for the tigers before the bye. Does this concern your back selections?

no, most people are only picking lids and rookies.

and with lids he is looking at a large increase in midfield time this year i reckon as we start to make more of a push towards finals.

rookies are simply picked because you think they are gonna play and as long as their price is improving everyone should be happy. With ellis i believe he has great js and will be an important part of the richmond lineup  nno matter how hard  the draw gets

I have Lids and Conca just on the outer at the moment. Not getting Martin for this reason. Better value in the forward line imo.

Currently have Lids, Ellis, Morris and Martin, dont really think its an issue.

Martin is a gun.  Doesn't matter who we play, he will find the ball.  We may get smashed a few times, but MArtin will be up there in our best players more often than not.  Lids is Lids, always reliable.

Agree with Richoo, Dids, rookies and better value with nearly every other player

+2.

But then I do hear alot of Richmond fans, as we have here, saying that Martin will be fine against any opposition! I can just see him scoring alot of 70-80s against the better teams as he will get more attention. He will probably still impact on the game, but get important touches instead of alot of them. On the flipside I could see him going BANG against the poor teams and posting a couple of 120+ scores...

I had been tossing up between Martin & Robinson up until now but may also consider Sidebottom. The safe thing with Martin is that so many seem to be jumping on, so at least if you get burnt, it's alongside half of the competition..?
