While I'm in a thread making mood I thought I'd raise another one for us all to devour.

There is no doubt there is some wicked midfield value this year. But when we break it all down who is the best picks?

Vote in this hand crafted poll above the rookies in which you will be taking in DT 2012.

I have made it 4 options as this is the structure which most people have gone with.

(r) - denotes rookie listed

I have not included MPP players

I don't class the higher rookies as really rookie priced. Under 125k in this poll.

Thanks!

It seems I have forgotten to allow more than 1 vote. Just pick your best rookie (in your opinion for 2012)

ScoreGasm

It's got to be Shiel out of this list, although if Horsely gets elevated which he probably will he will give Shiel a run for his money

kilbluff1985

Miles FTW but will have to wait and see who gets picked him or Shiel

Justin Bieber

It's odvious who's the winner...

no sam gibson from nm?
Still a rook, heard good stuff about him though! I'll add him ;)

I can only choose three rooks currently rolling with McDonald, Shiel and Mitchell.

The F.A.R.K.

leave mcdonald alone and pick up a wce boy in koby stevens. I really doubt mcdonalds potential he isnt goign to come out and average 80+ and he will be lucky to get thru the first 5 rounds. tbh he wasnt the quickest footballer in his day just the smartest and in the year he was out of the game the speed has picked up soooo much while his has dropped off.

the sub rule slowed down the game ten fold last year mate....dunno what u were watching
but i get your point every year its a different game, faster, harder, stronger....[insert Daft Punk backing track}
Simon Black isnt the quickest bloke out there but still picks up plenty of touches each week

The F.A.R.K.

Yeah because black is prbably one of the smartest players in the game. He has been destined for a coaching rule since the early 2000s. He adapts his game to keep up with the game. Mcdonald also didnt have a preseason last year and probably spent nost of the year doing media duties ect. TBH we could all see he was on the way out when he retired he was spent and for him to go round another year his scores would have plummmeted so dont say he still had it when he retired just coz he averaged 94

Mitch Hallahan probably shouldnt be on this list. Anthony Miles will find it tough to get a regular senior spot in 2012.

Colliwobblers

shiel just to be obvious, but i think clifton might go close
