Swan Ablett Selwood Barlow Hayes Shiel

I feel i have to pick Hayes and Barlow because i see so much value and IMO they will both average 100+

Very good but I wouldn't pick Hayes...

My midfield is...

Swan, Gazz, Murphy, Rockliff, Barlow, Shiel

Pricey? Yes. Dominant? Yes. Will it change? Maybe.

Bazinga

If you pick Barlow and Hayes then you are picking them as premiums. To be honest I think this midfield won't be strong enough later in the season. They could both average 100+, but if neither are in the top ten scorers you could be left behind.

but are you missing out on some gun midfield rookies?
Yes

Mr.Craig

I think it would be better to invest more money in positions where the rookies aren't as strong.

Yes
but is that compensated by the plethora of points (and captain options) I have each week?
Yes.

The F.A.R.K.

Barlow goes against my guns and rookies policy and hayes goes against my youth policy so sorry it isnt too strong

Capper

if you have Swan,Selwood and barlow you are picking barlow not as a premium unless you want to cop a donut.

I dont think its too strong, if you can cover your other lines. For me to afford it i have avoided some of the more expensive players in the other lines for example i have Hmac as my second ruck and robinson as my most expensive forward.

I have an even stronger mid of Swan,Ablett, Gibbs, Selwood, Barlow, Shiel i plan on upgrading shiel and barlow

The Hankstars

I would be very surprised if Barlow plays all 22,,snapped his leg in so many places it would be impossible to have no soreness during the season.Have the bones healed ? Wil find out when he gets hammerd.

Ziplock

it's been 18 months.

I would say it would be completely healed. Snapped in two spots right?

that's why Barlow struggled last year because of the repercussions of breaking his leg it was still sore and causing him trouble, but by all reports this preseason he says his leg is feeling great, there's a reason why everybody is jumping on where he is easily capable of averaging 100
