McDonald vs Stevens

Same price........... But who will score the most for the season?

McDonald will mostly likely have a higher avg but will Stevens play more games?

Give your reasons why you think who will be the top scorer

Mcdonald wins out on both accounts.

Mcdonald for a higher average (80+), and to play more games. Mcdonald in GWS best 21, Stevens be on the fringe for weagles. McDonalds age will mean he'll play until his body gives way, to shelter the younger kids. Stevens will probably be subjected to the vest etc. as he IS one of the younger kids who needs sheltering.

unless Stevens goes crazy in the nab cup I'd go Mcdonald. Stevens has poor JS as he is competing with gaff, masten etc.

J mac easily wins
We can expect him to be scoring above rookie avergae, where as with stevens it is still unknown

Stevens is competeing with way too many onballers at wce with kerr, priddis, shuey and selwood definite starters without injuries, but he can crack in if he performs better then masten and swift, being that extra midfielder that would rotate from the fwd line to the midfield.

I can see Jmac getting more time on ball the compared to Stevens hence a greater potential of scoring

Ultimate professional. Still kept himself in peak condition as he knew that he'd get a gig at GWS..... :P

By all reports Old Mc'Donald is in great shape and should play the majority of the first half of the season. Stevens has been a standout in pre-season along with Shuey but he'll have to prove himself in the Nab to work his way into the best 22.

I'll give you a tip, if you're going to buy a player in that range I'd look at clifton. McDonald might also vest a fair bit which is never good.
