Where does it say he won't play NAB Cup?

It doesn't but if he's on a limited preseason because of injury would you risk playing him?, It was a hypothetical answer ;-)

Clifton, ad you can quote me on that. Won a few awards as the best player in the vfl, perfect age, game style for sc, will play every week, will probably be a bit of a leader. Suprised at the lack of love.  Some of the younger guys may pass him in years to come, but right now i think he will be the best scorer on that list for this year.

Kavanagh (Or Cavanagh if the HS is to be believed :P) is going to be the next Heppell.
But then again, I MAY be just a little biased... Go Bombers  ;D

But back to the topic of Mitchell, Burner, that website may say he's been on a modified training program, could that have anything to do with getting his body/fitness up to AFL standard?

"The hard-at-it onballer has battled injury at times this season, but he was among WA's best when he came into the team late in the national under-18 carnival."

Maybe because he was injured at some point last year?
I haven't been able to find anything that said he was injured more recently, however, meow meow did post a link in another topic with an interview mentioning that Mitchell was training with the rehab group before the Christmas break.

"BEST NEWBIE: It's all about father-son selection Tom Mitchell ($106k) at the Swans. The midfielder hasn't missed a beat yet."

Conflicting stories here.

gonna go S Reid as no one has said him yet as a smokey. should play midfiel and rack up some points and is 106 500. i also have shiel and clifton in mids atm with tommy mitchell.

Wow mangner was the last bloke on here still on 0 as I just clucked him. If he plays rd one in the centre he could blow all all these rooks out of the water, his last yr stats are pretty flowering impressive I must say

Good to see another Magner fan. I really like this kid. Had the most possessions in the VFL last year so obvisouly knows how to find the pill. He's a rookie though, so its quite possible they will play others before him. If he is given the opportunity I think he could prove to be the rookie that flew under everybody's radar.

Shield, Hampton, Miles. All been around the Gws system for a while. Would of gone quiet high in draft.

cortez

Should we put Koby Stevens in to consideration simply because of his price?
