Starting with Big 'O' or Giles?

after overhauling my team today i now have smelly burger, big o, giles & rowe in the rucks. Who of Giles & Big O should I start on the field?

never planned to start a rookie ruck but im very happy with the rest of my team and have minimal dough left.

i am worried about Rowe's injury. I only have the bigO and Giles and they are both on he bench

For me I have the same rucks as you (Berger/Giles/O/Rowe) I'll just play whoever is playing against the easiest team, that is if they're playing, until one player is a clearly better dter then the others. But by that time I might have downgraded one and upgraded the other, only time will tell.

your playing with fire if you start a rookie ruck. Giles and O are great as they will provide great cover. I think its much smarter to go with Hmac as your second ruck. It doesnt cost that much more and its alot safer.

Everyone is asuming giles will come out and score like smith, but what is he doesnt. Big O looks good but he could do anything, there definately great picks for the bench but i wouldnt want to be relying on them.

Hmmmm thanks Holz just been talked into this move. I think rotating between three rookies is okay. If one of them isn't a standout performer we should be able to back one of them in each week to score 75+.

Then we can use that 400k we saved elsewhere!!

think of it this way, you're losing a solid scorer on your bench each week by not playing them, rucks score worse than any other position, and since every man and his dog (real dters anyway) will have them on their bench, the real POD is to field one. Or both if you have some huge gonads.

Solid 24 years of age and can score think he will easily emulate a z.smith and outscore thr majority of rookies in def - and by starting him allows you to play a 5 th mid like barlow who is less than the top rucks and will outscore em all easily!!!

the problem is what if rowe isnt playing and giles gets injured or dropped. Also i have been able to get a midfield of Ablett,Swan, Selwood, Gibbs,Barlow with Mummy Hmac in the ruck. For me its worth going a sidebottom over franklin and a grimes over shaw to save the cash than cheaping out on the ruck. I wish you guys the best of luck but be prepared it could be that thing you look back on after the season end and say why wasi soo stupid.
