Gotta feel sorry for a team that has been so starved of success recently. Only issue for me is the 'out of the woodwork' factor where all of a sudden supporters come out in droves when the Tiges are up and about, but disappear when times are tough...

Are you for real??
Richmond had the 4th most members in 2012 and 5th most in 2011 despite having not played finals since 2001.
Richmond supporters stick tougher than any other team

Every Tigers supporter I know has loved the club for years and they never hide away when we're shower (which has been often over the past decade).  We're not like teams like Hawthorn where you barely knew anyone that supported them until 2008.

I have no reason to dislike them as our rivalry with them is no where as deep as some of the other melbourne clubs would be. Also we got Shultz and Rodan from u guys (delisted now, but gave us some good years service ) so don't care in a nice sort of way

Yeah, quite true. All Tigers fans I know are as loyal as anything.

I think Spinking is confusing Richmond supporters with his own clubs supporters..
St.kilda had less members than Melbourne and Port Adelaide this year. They were quick to jump off the bandwagon as soon as times got tough

Yep we have all been waiting patiently. Imagine how many members we could have when were a chance at a flag. Surely 70k +

Living in South Australia, me and two of my mates are the only tigers supporters I really know in this state. We copped so much shower growing up about our team being a pushover (which we were)... Never have we jumped off the band wagon, I went to 12 straight live games at one point (we don't get many in SA haha) and we didn't get one win. Did we stop going to the games? No. Did we ever jump off the bandwagon? No.

Tigers supporters stand by the club through and through. I don't know how you can say we're fair-weathered at all. We have one of the largest membership bases in the country, and we haven't been successful for close to 30 years. We aren't fair weathered supporters mate.

Really don't mind Richmond. Especially on a DT and SC level  :D

Hagebear

Actually don't mind the Tigers. Love the way they play. Young and aggressive and just flat out attack. Big fan of Dusty and Cotchin and Harwick is one on my favourite coaches.

As a Tigers supporter, I won't be voting on this one because well, it's obvious. :P

Dont hate them, feel sorry for them a little. They are like the little cousin you hope will one day come good.
