i cant figure out whether i need to have links between my mid/def and my fwd/mid to help me cover my team during the byes or to go with a stronger team

Should always go with the stronger team, MPP's are handy, but I wouldn't be sacrificing too many points

this year you can trade with only one DPP anyway. That helps. :)

This.

Basically it means you need maybe 1 MPP in each position if that.

No decent Fwd/Ruc, Def/Ruc or Def/Fwd combos this year :(

but like when ur premiums have the bye its not like ur gona trade them all out and move ur dpp into their position, i think that works more with rookies. correct me if im wrong

I dont think it's worth it this year to make the link. Not only can you do the trade with only 1dpp this year, the chances of having a spare player to alternate position during the bye anyway is going to be slim. Especially when there is only 2 bench spots.
Not only do you need to find a decent player to link you have to find a player that has a bye that will suit your team structure. Meaning there is no point having a link between two players who share the same bye. Also you need for one of those dpp players to come from a line with a playing sub, meaning if you needed to fill a gap in your backline with a dpp from your mid, you would only be able to do it if you only had one player having a bye in your midfield, otherwise you will just be taking a donut from your def and putting it into your mid. I think. haha.

yeh i think your right. i guess ill just have to deal with 2-3 zeros during each of the byes but i think it should be around the same for everyone else.

I'm going to downgrade to midfield/back and midfield/forward links.

The F.A.R.K.

have zorko and luke brown in mids then u can sub players like lids, robinson ect into mids ect

b/f you could have redpath and smedts but dont really see the point if redpath wont play

DPPs are nice to have but not essential
